Yuki wakes up feeling dizzy and then he looks over to Yukine and tries to get up but fell over. Yukine rushes over to him "You need to rest you used to much spirit energy yesterday all you need to do now is recuperate". "Alright" Yuki answered.

Yuki's phone started to ring, he checked to see who it was and it was his boss from the restaurant calling. He picked it up "Hello". "You worthless piece of shit you haven't been at work for over a week now, you know don't even bother coming back cause you are fired😠😠😠😠" the boss shouted angrily.

"No!". "what happened" Yukine asked. "I just got fired from my job, wait a minute isn't demon slaying a job so is there anyway I can get paid from it". "No you idiot demon slaying is a duty you have the mark you slay demons that's all you need to do" Yukine responded. "Boy this demon slayer stuff really is a fraud😒,guess I'll just go find a new job then".

So Yuki and Yukine headed out to find a job. On their way to another restaurant they passed a job that seemed to be a herbal medicine store and they both felt a sharp presence of spirit energy and decided to head over to the store where to their surprise they saw an old lady sweeping the store "Oh welcome are you here for the job well since you are the only one that showed up I guess the job is yours".

Yuki looked around and noticed that it was only the old lady in the store and so he decided to help her out

anyway. "Going straight to work I see you are hardworking indeed, no wonder you were chosen by the gods". Yuki looked over to the woman in shock "what do you mean I just can't let my conscious rest watching an old woman sweep while am here am not hardworking at all" Yuki replied.

"No need to be nervous boy I sensed your spirit energy even while you passed by, I am miss Chen, what's your name?". "My name is Yuki....Yuki Habarai" Yuki replied. At this moment both Yukine and miss Chen's face were in shock.

"What happened".

"Nothing dear there's nothing wrong at all" miss Chen replied.

"But miss Chen how were you able to sense my spirit energy".

"That's because I once was a demon slayer like you" miss Chen replied.

"Really then what level were you" Yuki asked in excitement.

"That isn't important now boy my demon slaying days are over right now I just use my time to run my shop and nothing else" miss Chen replied as she looks over at Yukine.

"And who might this your friend be?" she asks while lifting Yukine up.

"He is my pet Yukine" Yuki replied.

"I sense a strange form of spirit energy from him one that is out of this world".

"Put me down you old hag😡😡".

"I knew there was something weird about you, Yuki where did you get this rude animal😡😡?"

"Pet,rude,animal😠😠😠. I am a god for crying out loud😭😭😭 why won't anyone respect me😭" Yukine sobs.

"Are you really crying over this, I thought you were an all powerful god?" Yuki asks.

"well how will you feels if you were in god I'm a filthy animal body😭" Yukine replied.

"(sighs)okay am sorry for calling you a rude animal but pls stop crying you're wetting my floors".

"Okay" Yukine replied.

"Good, now that we got that out of the way, what's your spirit form kid".

"Wait you are going to asks how the dog could talk or what old man I got him from and maybe why he calls himself a god?" Yuki asks.

"Listen kid once you have been in the business for as long as I have most of this things won't surprise you" miss Chen replied.

"Okay so what's a spirit form" Yuki asks.

"🤨 how do you not know what a soul form is😤😤. Your spirit form is the shape your spirit energy takes when is of high density and aids you in combat and if you didn't know this then how have you been fighting?".

"I just punch them" Yuki replies.

"Come with me boy".

Yuki and yukine follows her to the storage room behind the shop where she opens up a secret passage underneath and they walk down the stairs to a creepy basement when she turns on the lights and shows then a weapon collection.

"This is my weapon collection varying anything from melee to short and long range weapons".

"Why do you have so many weapons miss Chen?" Yuki asks.

"Well a long time ago I worked as an assassin and I loved my weapons I would get a new weapon each time to execute a new mission but that all changed when I got chosen but for I was lucky that my spirit form was my favorite weapon it was a sword and since normal weapons are useless on demons and curses I kept them locked away ever since".

"But I thought that the gods only choose those that were pure of heart to be slayers so why a serial killer?".

"well maybe it's because the people I killed deserved to die, I had never killed anyone out of a grudge or a business rival I killed those who deserves it for abusing their power and laughing at the poor and also I am not a serial killer I am an assassin so get that right". she said my giving Yuki an intense stare.

"Yes ma'am" Yuki replied while bowing his head.

"Now just sit down close your eyes and just let your spirit energy flow through your memories".

"Okay" Yuki replied.

As Yuki meditated he saw his past memories flashing through while his spirit energy went through his entire body when suddenly he saw the image of a sword from the distance the woke up.

"So what is it boy" miss Chen asked.

"It was a sword" Yuki replied.

"Then get ready boy from today on I am going to be your master and train in the ways of the sword".

"Wha..." Yuki replied while leaning his head the other way in confusion.
