"Why did you want to meet here?" Ali asked as she sat down besides me. We where in the park under a big oak tree.

"I just wanted to hang out with someone today." I said

"What about your crush?" she teased

Well.. Its kinda too late isnt it?

"I dunno."

She frowned

"I have a good idea! why don't you invite her to the park tomorrow and tell them under the tree."

Alizen smirked.

Although she's a bit diffrent she does have a good side.

"Ali, I wanna ask you something." I blurted those words and froze when I realized I said them.

Ali is my pet name for her. I never used it out loud before..

She smiled

"Ali, nice name."

The wind blew and Ali's hair whipped in the breeze. We sat there for a moment in the breath taking silence.

I opened my mouth but decided to change the words I was about to say.

"How did you get a boyfreind?"

"I asked him."

I nodded.

She leaned against the tree and closed her eyes.

"There's a kid.. a girl I like.. I don't know how to tell her" I started

"she dosent like me back" I looked at Ali who lied her head on my shoulder.

"I dont think she ever will.. And I know it's odd to like a girl.. Does that mean I'm different too like one?"

There was a pause

"please dont tell anyone I like girls.." I finally whispered.

Ali rocked her head.

"Your my freind, your not the only one who's diffrent." She said quietly

After a moment in the silence I asked her one last thing.

"Is it bad to like my gender?"

I looked at her and smiled when I realized she was fast asleep.

I ran my fingers though her hair. She could never last an hour without a single nap. I smiled and looked around. There where kids playing at the playround and people in the short distance.

I remember when I used to play here with Ali. She either had a lot of energy or was always sleepy. A couple minutes passed by as I watched the kids play.

Ali made the cutest noise and I took my hand out her hair when I realized she was waking up.

She sat up straight and rubbed her eyes.

"What happened?" She asked

"you fell asleep."

"oh" she stoop up and I stood up soon after. "I can walk you home." I offered

She nodded and I walked by her. Ive been to her house only once in the past.

"remember the advice I gave you"

"But what if shes taken?" I asked as I tried to keep pace with her.

"you can have multiple cant you?"

Ali started slowing down.

"Can't you?"

I hesitated.

"I guess.."

Ali changed her pace again and I tried to keep up.

After a while of her talking about how to ask someone out and me just nodding and trying to memorize everything. We made it.

"Oh we are here." Ali skipped to the fromt door. I was about to head the other way but she stopped me.

"Come, I wanna show you something." I went to the front door and leaned against the wall of her house.

"What is it?" I felt a little pestered at that time.

Ali put her arms around me. Her head was up to my chin while she was on her tip toes.

"I need you to be my girlfreind."

I froze

"What about your boyfriend?"

She looked up

"It was a lie just to impress you, but when you told me you like girls it gave me hope." I saw a tear roll from her left eye.

"I-i need you." She laid her head on my shoulder.

"I really do.." She wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug.

"I dont know.." I started

"If you dont I'll kill myself!" She threatened.

Ali-? She wouldnt do such a thing-? would she??

"Um.. I.. " I started panicking.

I dont want my freind to kill herself because of me.

"ok." Was the final response that slipped me.

She let go and hit my leg with her knee. "Thats how you properly ask someone out!" She wore a smug face.

I'm confused..

But sometimes its just best to ask her the next and let her have her glory for one day..

She went inside her house and I walked home. Would it be so bad uf I was really dating her..?

Oh what am I thinking?

But it would get my mind off of Cecilia.. I dont think of her that much when I'm around Ali..

"Ali" I whispered to Alizen the next day.

"Oh cut the cheese talk." Alizen waved her hand in the air yet still loked to the front of class.

"We are not really dating"

"But sorry to get your hopes up darlin, didnt know you cared about me that much."

She looked over at me with a evil grin and kicked my foot from under the desks.

"I don't want to date you anyways, I was just teaching you how to ask someone out and get REAL results." She looked to the front of class and snickered.
