The Flu

Cecilia texted me for the millionth time about how awesome Cameron is. I decided to put my phone down and get a snack from the kitchen. When I went to the kitchen I saw my little brother Jason running around like a maniac. I blankly stared and decided to go back to my room.

Maybe I should find something else to do. I texted my freind Ali "Hi" but as always she never responds. Sometimes I wonder if she gave me the wrong number...

Cecilia texted again

"Wanna hang out at the park later today?"

This time I responded with a "Sure, what time?"

I waited a bit for a response until she finally responded

"3:30"

I was so enthusiastic I almost peed myself.

Good thing I didn't..

I decided to get ready since it was almost 3:30 and I went out the door. Anyways the park is a long ways from my house so it'll take a while to get there..

...

I waited at a park bench for a while. My phone said it was 3:47

Usually she isn't late...

"R u coming" I texted

No response

I sighed and decided to wait a while. Probably she's just running a little late?

I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

...

I woke up to the sound of a dog barking.

The sun was setting so I must be been asleep a while..

I turned on my phone

3:56: "Sorry I'll be late Cameron needed me over asap"

4:02: "Ill be there soon, I'm with Cameron right now"

4:24: "We can switch it to tomorrow?"

5:47: "sorry"

I turned on the flashlight on my phone and walked home. It is 7:45

I haven't been getting much sleep lately. Perhaps this is my karma.

When I made it back home my parents weren't there. My brother was watching Miraculous Ladybug.

I went to my room and cried myself to sleep for the first time in 3 years.

I've always taught myself to hold it in and not express myself so I don't get hurt but in this world it is impossible to not get hurt..

When I woke up I had a massive headache and my nose was runny. I decided to not got to school.

I went to my computer and played games most the day.

I heard a tapping at my door and decided to open it. By this time I was just playing my favorite game: stare at the wall

"hello" Cecilia said as she walked in.

I stepped by. My mom probably let her in..

Cameron followed next. Great. "It's the first time we met as a group since me and Cameron started dating." Cecilia said with glee.

I dont know what made her fall in love with him. He is short, has black curly hair and blue eyes. She has blonde hair and light blue eyes like the sea. She is beautiful and she has the cutest laugh. They are completely diffrent when side by side.

Whereas I have brown hair and light brown eyes.

They where holding hands at that moment. "Yuri why don't you get a boyfreind?" Cecilia asked breaking the silence.

That's a ligit question.. why don't i?

Lemme start I'm a computer dweeb, I'm a anime geek, I read too much mangas, I have a odd obsession with pokemon and collectors items, I read too much, I am a huge nerd, No one gets my humor, so yea, no one would like me. And obviously I'm not ready for one..

"I dunno" was the only answer that came out of my mouth.

Apart from the fact that they where holing hands and gazing into each others eyes I just HAD to take a seat because my stomach was killing me.

"Maybe we should go.." Cameron blurted out.

I stared at him

You better not go or else I'm going to die from loneliness~

He opened his mouth but didnt say anything.

"Maybe we should." Cecilia said as she started walking to the door.

"Please stay." I begged.

Cecilia looked back and gave a pitiful face and walked closer to me.

"Cameron's mom is suffering from foot cramps so we have to check on her."
