Chapter 2-The power

Shengou accepted Shegechi's offer and went to the adventure. And so Shengou set out on this dangerous adventure. He navigated where to go, using the map his parents had made on their adventure to Shou. After two hours of walking, Shengou got tired and sat down to rest. He took out the sandwiches his mother had prepared for him. He ate and continued on his way. After a while he heard some shouting nearby. Without thinking he grabbed his sword and followed the shouts so he could help the human. He managed to find it and decided to use one of the spells he had learned.

(Attacking gravity magic. Gravity weighting)

Shengou said in his head as with that he said the incantation to activate the spell.

The boy stood up and said to him:

-Thank you for saving me. I am Senji Sugetsu. I'm good at nunjagou, can I join you as your assistant.

Senji said to Shengou.

Senji had a normal man look, but he looked like he was hiding some incredible power that could be of use to Shengou.

-You can, but on one condition. You have to be willing to give up your life because we're going to the Demon King Shou.

He told him.

-Okay sir.

Senji replied.

-Look out.

Shengou said as he pushed Senji to the ground. He was one of Shou's messengers to kill Shengou.

-Which of you mere mortals is Shengou I've come to kill him.

Said the demon. He seemed to be one of the highest ranked demons.

-I am, but how do you know my name.

Shengou replied in surprise.

-You think my great lord won't learn about the child who took the power of the cursed eyes.

The demon answered him.

-Wait a minute what eyes are you talking about. I was only told to kill Shou the son of Shigechi.

Said Shengou even more astonished.

-The power Shigechi gave you is the only power that can kill my master, but I can see that you're stupid and don't know what this is about.

The demon answered him.

-I tell you honestly I don't know what you're talking about. He told me he would give me power, but I did not know what that was apparently.

Shengou replied.

-Ugh, you're starting to piss me off.

With that, the demon swung its sharp claws towards Shengou. Hurting him very badly. Senji tries to help with a spell.

(Attacking fire magic. Fire ball)

However the demon has neither a scratch. Shengou despaired of dying early in the adventure this early. Then his eyes turned pink and a magic circle appeared in front of them. Those were the cursed eyes the demon spoke of. Shengou is using them for the first time and doesn't know how to use them.

(Say something deadly that he would die from).

A voice whispered in his head. Shengou listened to him and told his heart to burst. So the demon's heart burst and he died on the spot. Shengou was able to use and understand what power he had received. And now having slain the demon, he and Senji moved on, because they had a long way to go.
