Heavy Rain

Finally, they arrived at home, before entering, Dave grabbed her arm and whisper to her.

"Wait! Don't tell Mom what happened, okay?" Dave whisper in her ear.

She just nodded and entered the house. She greeted her Mom and Dad with a smile.

"How is your school?" her Mom asked.

"It's fine." She smiled slightly.

"Oh okay, you take a rest first. Later, we will eat dinner." her Mom said.

And then, she went to her room quietly. As she entered her room, she continued crying.

She still felt alone at that moment.

Even though Dave defends her, he still doesn't care for her. She still feared and felt sorry for herself.

"Mom... I miss you, I miss you so much..."

She said while hugging a pillow and suddenly fell asleep.

Later on, Dave knocks on the door. He knocked so many times, but Ava didn't open it. So, he decided to enter.

"Ava...” he slowly approached Ava in her bed.

He watches her while sleeping, it looks like she is having a bad dream. He wakes up Ava again.

"Ava! Ava! Wake up!" Dave said, but still she doesn't wake up.

"Huh! Ahh!" Ava whispered, and he saw her face in a bad condition, her breathing is alarming.

"Ava...Ava!!!" Dave shakes her shoulder harder, to make her wake up.

"Aaaahhhh!!!" Ava shouted as she woke up with tears.

Dave takes a deep breath of what he witnessed in Ava's bad dream. This girl is suffering from a nightmare.

Ava saw Dave sitting next to her... she sat down and hugged Dave tightly while crying.

Dave was so shocked about Ava. He felt sad for her suffering. He knows it, she was dreaming of the past accident.

He embraced her too and slowly put her back.

"It's okay, it's only a dream." he whispered.

"My Mom and Dad..." and she continued crying heavily.

"Don't cry, I'm here now, I will never leave you." he softly said while touching her hair.

After a while, she calmed down, Dave stared at her, while touching her face. But Dave just realized something.

Slowly, he stood up...

"After your acting, just go out and eat!" Dave said and walked out.

Ava was shocked by what Dave said to her. She is not acting! She felt hurt by what he said. He always has something bad to say to her.

After she recovered from her tears. She goes out and eats dinner.

"Ava, how's your school?" her Dad asked.

"It's okay, I get along with my classmate." Ava said.

"That's good, don't worry, soon you will be more familiar. Maybe we can visit a Doctor to check you." her Mom said.

"Alright." Ava said and bowed her head.

"Dave, you take care of Ava in school. Teach her again her lesson." Mom said.

"I'm busy..." Dave said.

"Busy? Dave as her boyfriend, be responsible! She needs you! Be a man!" His Dad said.

Dave nodded and gave a sharp look at Ava.

While Ava bowed her head and ate slowly.

After they eat dinner, she instructs them to go to Dave's room to study. She knocked many times but did not open.

She enters slowly, she looks around. No body's there, she heard a water sound in the bathroom, she thought that Dave was showering.

She looked around and she saw a picture frame on the small table with a lampshade.

In that picture, Dave is hugging her and it looks like they are so happy and inlove.

She's trying to recall that scene, but she can't.

Until Dave came out of the bathroom, he only wore a towel around his waist. He saw Ava holding the picture frame. He approaches her immediately and takes it from her.

"You have no right to touch anything!" Dave said with a mad face.

"S-sorry..." Ava said and bit her lower lip.

Ava, slowly move back to the chair and wait for Dave.

After he dressed up, he taught her on her assignments and other lessons that she can't understand.

Next day at school....

When the class ended, Ava looked for Dave to go home with him. She searches for Dave's room, and she tries to ask some students there.

"Hi! Is this Dave's classroom?" Ava asked the student.

Looking at her, she is pretty and maybe rich too.

"Oh, Dave, yes. Why?" the girl said while looking at her from top to bottom.

"I just want to say something." Ava said.

"Ah okay..." and then she entered the room.

"Dave, your fan girl is outside." she said.

"Just tell her, I'm busy." Dave said and continued to do his assignment.

"Hey little girl! Dave is busy! You can go home, okay?" the girl said.

"Ha? But I can't go home." Ava said.

"Tsk! Just go home girl! Go!" the girl said and she closed the door.

Ava slowly turns around. She walks to the school gate and waits for Dave.

Until all classes had ended, Dave did not show up.

She sat down in the lawn beside the gate. When she looks up, the sky is too dark, a possibility of rainfall.

Almost 3 hours of waiting, when Dave finally arrived.

Dave was walking with his classmates, when he saw Ava sitting beside the gate. She is all wet because of the rain.

The place is already dark, while Ava is looking at grass which is also wet by the rain, suddenly someone approaches her with an umbrella. She looked up, and she saw Dave sharp gaze. She bowed again and looked at the grass.

"You are such an idiot! You know it's raining, why didn't you look for shelter?" Dave said.

"You said, I need to stay here!" Ava said.

"Tsk!" Dave sighed and mad.

"Oh girl, you are the one who's looking for Dave earlier!" his classmate said.

"Do you know her Dave?" she asked him.

"Yeah, you go ahead." Dave said to his classmate.

"Ah okay. Bye Dave!" his classmates said and they went.

After his classmates are gone, Dave helps her to get up.

"Look at you! You are already wet and your books too! Tsk!" Dave yelled at her.

But Ava kept silent and bowed her head...

They walk through the street to find the cab. But unfortunately, it's a peak hour now, so it's hard to find.

They walk another road, and try to call a cab again. And the rain is getting heavier. Dave, think another way...

"Let's go there first to rest." Dave said and she followed him.

They check into a hotel room, because of the heavy rain.

When they get in the room, Dave gives his extra shirt to Ava.

"Here, you change first!" Dave handed her a shirt.

"Thanks." Ava said and she slowly put her bag and book on the table.

Then walk to the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Dave calls her Mom to tell that they can't go home right now, because of the heavy rain and difficulty finding a cab at this hour.

"Okay Mom, bye!" he hung up.

Ava walks out from the bathroom, and Dave is shocked by Ava's appearance.

She looks sexy on that shirt. The shirt was length above her knees. Her white and smooth skin with long legs is showing in front of his eyes.

Ava, slowly sits down at the side of the bed.

Dave, get the towel and put it in the head of Ava and help her to dry her hair.

"I can manage." Ava said.

Then Dave sighed and stopped and walked out to the bathroom.

When he's back, he looks outside and it's still raining. He looks at Ava, she is already asleep. He covers her with the blanket.

At midnight, Ava feels cold...

"Mom...Mom..."

Dave woke up from her whispering, he saw Ava and she felt cold. He touched her forehead and she has a fever.

He looks for some medicine in his bag and he feeds it to Ava.

Ava is chilling...

He lowered the air con and he also tried the other way. He hugged Ava so tight, to lower her fever. After a few minutes he also fell asleep.
