First Day of School

While writing, Dave asks her.

"Do you really, not remember anything?" Dave said while looking her in the eyes.

"I don't remember anything...why?" Ava asked.

"Tsk! Nothing!" Dave said and sighed.

Afterwards, Ava feels dizzy and her eyes feel heavy and fall...

Dave approached her and brought her to her bed.

"Ava! Ava..." Dave called her but she was still unconscious.

Dave walked out to the door and called his Mom.

They call a Doctor to check Ava.

The Doctor said Ava is too tired and still depressed for losing her loved ones. She needs more time to recover from that incident. Just don't make her stressed, so she can easily recover.

And then, the Doctor gave some medication.

Already dinner time, when Ava wakes up and she feels hungry. She saw Dave, sitting on the side of the bed sleeping while holding her hand.

She slowly takes it in her hand, but Dave wakes up.

"Oh, finally you're awake!" Dave said and he called her Mom outside the door.

"Ava, how are you?" Mom said while approaching her.

"I'm fine now." Ava said.

"Okay, are you hungry? I will bring food here." Mom said.

"Yes, thank you." Ava said and her Mom went outside and went to the kitchen.

Ava and Dave left in the room, they were quiet. Dave leans on the wall and stares at her. She sat up, just feeling uncomfortable with Dave and his looks made her annoyed.

When her Mom arrived, instructed Dave to feed her. She refused to do it, but Dave followed what his Mom said.

He feeds Ava full of rice in a spoon every second.

"Wait, my mouth is still full." Ava refused.

"It's okay, so you will get fat!" Dave said.

"I don't like to be fat." Ava said.

"Uhhg! Uhhg! Uhgg!" Ava choked.

"Give me wa...ter..." Ava said.

Dave gets the glass of water and drinks it. Ava was shocked, she really needs to drink water.

"Please give it to me." Ava said in a bad condition.

"This? Okay." Dave smiled and gave it to her half glass of water.

She started to hate Dave, why he treated her like that. She didn't know what was going on. She feels that Dave is mad at her.

After she eats dinner, she changes her clothes, but Dave suddenly appears.

"What the - Why are you here? Why didn't you knock?!" she said angrily.

"I'm not knocking on my own house." Dave said while looking her body up and down.

"Why are you looking at it?" Ava covers her body.

Dave slowly moved close to her face and said...

"I don't care about that! I already saw it!"

She rolled eyes at him.

"Tsk! Remember, we were already engaged two years ago!"

After Dave said, he turned around and walked out to the room.

"Ggrrr! You jerk!" Ava so mad at him.

The days have passed by...

First day of school, Dave and Ava go to the same school together.

Dave is in his 5th year in college, in a course of Medicine and Health Sciences, while Ava is in her 2nd year, in Economics.

Dave sends her to her classroom first.

"This is your room, get in!" Dave said.

"But wait, where is your room?" Ava asks.

"My room is over there in that building, on the 3rd floor, room 301!" Dave said while pointing to the next building on the right side.

"So, please get in, so I can go now to my class!" Dave said to her.

Ava is nervous entering her class room. She was so shy, because of her condition right now; she didn't know what to do. She slowly walks inside while looking at Dave frequently.

Dave waited for her to get inside, when she finally found her seat, Dave left.

Suddenly, her Teacher came in.

The Teacher gives them some advanced lessons to review at home. After the class, she thought about going to Dave's classroom, to eat with him. But her classmate approached her.

"Hi!" her classmate said.

"Hi!" she smiled.

"I'm Kim, and you are?" Kim said.

"I'm Ava, nice to meet you!" she said.

"Okay. Let's go out for lunch!" Kim said.

"Ah, okay." Ava said.

When they get to the canteen, they order food, when Ava turns to pay she forgot, Dave did not give her any money. She gets nervous; she doesn't know what to do.

"Ava, please pay the bill so we can sit down." Kim said to Ava.

"B-but... I forgot my money." Ava said while searching in her pocket.

"Ha? What?" Kim was shocked.

"Hey, please pay and move!" some students say.

"Can I borrow you...please?" Ava politely said to her.

And Kim checks her wallet, but that's not enough.

"But I don't have any extra." Kim said.

Dave came rushing in the canteen and looked for Ava and he saw her in the middle of that situation. He approaches them and takes his wallet and gets the money.

"Here! I will pay for her!" Dave said and Ava looked at him.

Kim was shocked when she looked at him, because it was Dave, who was very popular in their school.

"Thank you!" Ava said to Dave.

They found a seat and then Dave gave her more money in his wallet.

“This is for you. Sorry, I forgot to give you." Dave said and he walked out.

"Thanks!" Ava said.

Ava keeps it in her bag. Kim saw it and she was impressed.

"Wow! He gave you a lot of money! Why did he do that? Do you know him?" Kim asked her.

"Yes, I know him." Ava said.

"Really? I wish I personally knew him too! Dave is very popular here in our school." Kim said.

"Oh, really?" Ava said.

"Yes, he has a lot of admirers! But he doesn't care! Wait, Dave and you are...? "

Kim was confused about what kind of relationship that she had with Dave.

"We're friends!" Ava lied and gave a fake smile.

"Ah okay, I thought of something. Anyway, let's eat." Kim said and they continued eating.

After class...

"Ava, let's go home together!" Kim said.

"But I have something to do." Ava refused to go with her, because she just thought she didn't know how to go home.

"Ah, okay. I'll go ahead. Bye!" Kim said.

"Bye!" Ava said.

After Kim left her, she decided to go to Dave class room. But when she got there, she found out Dave was already gone.

"What will I do now? How can I go home? I don't know his number." Ava said to herself while walking.

She was walking in the street, when she realized she got lost.

She meets three bad guys in the street.

"Hey Miss!" the one guy said.

"Let's have some fun, before you go home!" he said while looking at her body.

"No! Don't talk to me!" Ava said and she was to turn around.

But they grab her arm by force and trying to rape Ava.

"No! Let me go!!!" Ava shouted.

"He he..come join us first!" said the bad guy and pulled her in the small way side of the building wall.

"No! Please! Let me go!" Ava pleaded and struggled.

The other guy held her both hands while leaning on the wall. While the other one trying to unbutton her blouse. She was so afraid and struggling from them.

"Help! Help!!!" Ava shouted it loud from her lungs. She felt her eyes wet and her tears falling down in her cheek.

And all of a sudden, someone punches that guy, trying to kiss Ava.

She looked at the guy... it was Dave! He fought the bad guys. He kicked so hard, the one who was holding Ava's hand, while the others received a hard punch in their faces and body.

After they had a bloody face from that fight, they ran. Dave had some bruises when he approached Ava, sitting in the corner and crying.

Ava felt so nervous and scared, she was trembling.

"Are you okay?" Dave looked at her.

She hugs him tightly and her tears fall down. Dave didn't show his emotion to Ava. He slowly pushes Ava away.

"Next time, don't go anywhere! Just wait for me at the gate, okay?!" Dave yelled at her.

Ava just nodded and obeyed. She follows Dave in the distance and takes a cab.

While inside the car, Ava still crying and Dave notice it.

"Will you stop crying! You're so annoyed!"

Dave was irritated, when he saw Ava still crying.

Ava wiped away her tears and took a deep breath and looked outside the window. She is still afraid, shocked and her hands still trembling from what happened.

Dave looked at her and her hands were trembling. He sighed, and held her hands to comfort her. He felt her hands were very cold and trembling.

Ava looks at him, when he holds her but he is looking outside. She feels comfortable now, with his warm hands. She really needs his care now, even though he yelled at her earlier, she didn't mind it.

She is just so thankful to him, for saving her from those bad guys.

They are holding hands and quiet, until they reach home.
