Chapter Three Part Three

|| Pov: Amalie ||

I hurried back to my cottage as fast as I could, my heart was pounding. I looked at my hand, staring at the bandaid.

I could feel my wolf was here, and I could feel her curiosity growing a little. I gripped my shirt feeling my heart beating.

'What is this... feeling..', I mumbled asking my wolf.

'Im not too sure Amalie...', she replied with a weak voice.

I couldn't help but wonder why an Alpha, a friend of my Father's as a matter.. would be so kind and gentle to me. I had only experienced my sister being this kind and gentle towards me...

I kept overthinking and finally took in a deep breath and sighed. I got a weird tingling sensation on the back of my neck, it was the itch again.

I changed into my cleaning clothes and headed  back up to the pack house. When I got to the door I was about to head inside but I flinched because I heard a car door slam behind me. I slowly glanced behind me to see who it was.

I was relieved when it was just my big sister Alya. I calmed down and greeted her with a soft smile.

She walked up to me, wrapping me up in a big hug and sighed with relief. I could tell she had a hard day at her work, so I hugged her back and comforted as much as I could.

"Amalie, have you eaten yet today..?", she asked, turning her face to look at me, letting me go from her grip.

'.. Not yet.. I was just about t-...', I started to say in our wolf telepathy but she cut me off.

"NO! You are NOT going to overwork yourself once again by cleaning. We are going out into the town so you can get some relaxation. I don't car what father says. He can't boss you around! Your soon to be Eighteen at midnight, so lets have a girls day..", she said with her soft gentle smile, and placing her hands on my shoulders.

I gave a soft sigh and smiled back at her, giving her a small nod of agreement. Her emerald green eyes sparkled and she looked at her driver.

"We are going into town, don't bother driving us, we are going a different way. If my father asks where we are tell him that I took her into town. And if he gets angry, he can deal with me.", she said with her Alpha tone of voice.

He gave a nod before walking away. She looked at me with a smile.

"Let's get a good breeze flowing through our hair!", she said with excitement.

I watched as she shifted in a larger, auburn colored she-wolf. Her paws where white as snow, and her nose was a soft rosy pink. Her emerald eyes sparkled, as her tail wagged.

'Get on my back sis, lets have some fun!', she said through the Wolf telepathy.

I smiled and slowly got on her back and she took off. It had been a while since I had felt the warm breeze of spring flow through my hair, I was enjoying it.

|| Pov: Marcus ||

I stared at the ceiling fan that was slowly moving, I hadn't tried to sleep since she left me alone in the room. I sat up, staring at the door pondering if I should go or stay.

I was only at Alpha Aidans pack from a rumor that he had been abusive to someone, and I needed to set him clear. I thought back to her reaction from when I mentioned him and I could feel my blood boil up. I growled and threw one of the pillows at the window. I paced in front of the window, stopping when the girl caught the corner of my eye.

She had gotten on the back of a she-wolf and they had took off into the forest towards the village. I clenched my hand into a fist and ran out the door of the rooming heading to the stairs.

I shifted into my wolf, the clothes I was wearing shredding in the air. I leaped down the stairs and busted the door open by head butting it. Her scent flushed through my nose and I followed it silently, like a Jaguar stalking in the trees.

I caught up to where I could see them and I followed far behind, my heart started thumping and I warmth flow through my body as I could swear time was stopping when I seen her have the most innocent smile on her face.

I could feel my heart beating hard, my stomach felt fluttery. I wanted time to stop so I could save the moment of her looking at peace. I stopped following thinking things through my head...

I watched them disappear over hill. I stared at the sky then closed my eyes, feeling the wind blow through my fur. I smiled and looked towards the hill again.

"We'll meet again... Daughter of Aidan.", I said before going back to Alpha Aidan's pack house.

I frowned my brows thinking of the low-life of an alpha. I smirked and with a calm low tone I whispered something under my breath, before staying in the forest waiting for Alpha Aidan to return.

|| Pov: Amalie ||

The breeze was something I missed for the longest time. I didn't want this moment of peace and safety to end.

I stared at the sky, looking into the clouds. I closed my eyes and thought deeply about something I had always wanted. I opened my eyes again, feeling something warm and wet trickle down my cheeks. I wiped my cheek looking at my hand.

'Are you okay sis... you mood seems...', my sister started in our wolf telepathy but I stopped her by placing my hand on her head.

She glanced up, seeing I had a gentle smile on my face. She sighed and smiled back.

'We are almost there sis, do you need a moment to yourself before we actually go into town...?', she asked as she started to slow down her running pace.

I took in a breath and shook my head no and she stopped for a moment before walking. I could see the town and I bit my lip a bit, slightly nervous.

She stopped and looked at me nodding for me to get off. I smiled and pat her head and got off backing up a bit. She shifted, grabbing a set of hidden clothes mid-shift being fully clothed.

'You ready sis.', she asked in our wolf telepathy with a smile.

I gave her a reassuring smile and she took me by the hand and we walked into town. My hand was trembling a little bit but Alya squeezed my hand a bit to let me know I was safe.

I was still nervous about going into town since I hadn't been into town for eight years. But since I was with Alya I felt a little more safe about going to town.

She smiled and wrapped her arm around my shoulder. I wasn't sure where she was going to take me, but I trusted her.

After a bit of walking my sister walked us to a store that looked so expensive and luxurious it made me a bit nervous.

"Don't you worry, its not as scary inside as it does outside. This place is a special type of salon, we are going to have a relaxing day inside. Massage, Mani-Pedi, relaxing day in a Steam Room, and etc., sis.", she said with a big smile.

I didn't want to go in, because if I did, she would see the scars and bruises all over my body... but at the same time I didn't want to disappoint my big sister.

I gave her a nod and she led my inside the building. I was amazed by how beautiful everything was inside, she was right it wasn't as scary on the inside as it was on the outside.

Two beautiful ladies walked over to us, greeting us kindly with bright smiles. They guided us to two separate rooms for us to get out of our clothes and into a bathing suit for the steam room.

I took off the clothing I had on, switching into the two-piece swim suit. I looked into the body mirror that was hanging on the door.

I bit my lip and gripped my arm staring at the bruises and scars all along my frail waist and chest. I didn't like what I seen so I wrapped myself in the towel and walked out of the room.

My sister was waiting for me outside of her room. Unlike me, my big sister had a beautiful physique and her body was perfect.

She looked at me with a bit of a confused look. I could tell it was because of the towel.

"Why do you still have the towel on sis? You don't have to hide y'know..?", she walked over and put my hand on my shoulder. "Come along, you can take that off in the steam room otherwise you will get too hot in there.", she said with a chuckle.

I chuckled wheezily and coughed a bit but gave her a smile. The same ladies walked over with their same generous smiles and guided us to the steam room.

We went inside and sat across from each other on the wooden benches. The ladies started up the steam by pouring some water on the warm coals in the middle of the room. The steam filled the room and the ladies walked out leaving us in the quiet room.

I took off the towel since it got plenty steamy in the room. I was still tense but I relaxed a little bit.

Soon enough music started playing in the room making it less quiet. I relaxed a bit more and looked around and seen my sis laying across the bench relaxing.
