The darkness

As Kai and Zoya opened the door..everything around them became a blur..

they were not inside the empire anymore..but somewhere else and it was totally empty

there were no cielings, no floors, no tables nothing.

It was like they were floating in nothingness.

Zoya: "Kai?"

Kai: "Zoya are you there, are you okay?"

Zoya: "Yeah im fine..bruh! but what is this?😲 Did we flew up to the space or something?"

(Zoya asked with immense amusement in her voice and her eyes were sparkling with wonder )

Kai:"Its the Darkness"😶

The amused look on Zoya's face changed into total terror by hearing Kai's reply. She recalled the events of today morning..

Zoya:(*in mind)if this thing is capable of making Kai that scared then I don't even stand a chance...

Zoya thought of the darkness as an imaginary illusion that Kai created from her nightmare, but now just the thought of it is giving chills down her spine.

Kai:"Yasmine must be somewhere here. Zoya we have to find her!"

Kai began to roam around the space calling out Yasmine name aloud..

Kai:"Yasmine!!.. are you there!!.. Yasmine!!"

Zoya was starstruck and was taking time digest the things that were happening around her.

Suddenly they heard the sound of 'Burning' again..

Both of them turned their heads towards the direction of the sound,

but the next thing that happened was rather amusing..

A tunnel's entrance came into view but inside of it was gleaming and radiating with light..

it was hard to predict what was on the other side.

The tunnel seem to produce a large amount of energy and that was why it was making burning noises.

Kai: "A pathway?"

Zoya:"Yasmine!!! are u in there??"

Kai:"Zoya ! stay back we dont what this is"(in a warning tone).

Zoya:" Its obvious Kai.. its a tunnel...yasmine will be inside, we should look for her"( Zoya spoke with hope).

Kai:"No wait!! Zoya!!"(alarmed)

Zoya reached out her hand to the tunnel Kai leaned in to stop her but right before Kai was going to grab Zoya's hand, Zoya's body tranformed to a translucent mass and began glitching!!!

Kai:"No!! Zoya!! Step back!!!"( Kai was in despair, she didn't know what was happening or why was it happening. All she could do at that time was to scream).

By the time Kai grabbed Zoya's hand, Zoya was pulled inside the tunnel and Kai was left alone in the dark space.

It was total silence only the burning sound of the tunnel was heard. The guiltness was killing her inside, she couldn't save Zoya and Yasmine's already gone..

A bead of tear slipped from her eyes..

but Kai instantly wiped it away and made her mind...

..." I have to find them..."...

kai reached her hand to the tunnel and closed her eyes..

her body began glitching Kai felt coldness surrounding her and then came the pull..

now it seemed like she was moving in the speed of the light...

closing her eyes was a mistake because opening it now seems like a big task, the force around her made her teeth rattle and gave shivers to her body, if this is going to continue for a while.. the chance of her surviving was less..

Kai was trying to make her mind more stable and trying to adapt her body to endure all the force...she was still being pulled downwards to god knows where!!

..."Hello there mate😁!!!"...

Kai instantly opened her eyes and looked at the owner of the voice..

Kai:"Zoya!!!!"😲🥺

Zoya:"yup thats me!!..So hows the trip? any idea where it leads?"

Kai: "Nop nothing lets wait and see"

(kai was relieved that Zoya was all okay and was with her)

Both of them were waiting for the little "falling aka being pulled down" trip to end.

...----------------...

(At the Empire)

Office worker:"Come fast you idiot😠 ,there is a fire breaking out inside Yasmine Mam's Office... hey you blue shirt fella.🤨.. go get the fire extuingisher and you the wierd beard guy..You go call the Fireforce..and can somebody get me a cup of water?..gosh im tired..😔"

It was a total chaos inside the Empire everybody was running here and there ..not knowing what to do

Office worker:"So you guys ready??"

Others: "Yes Sir"

Office Worker :"Be carefull..lets go..1..2...3.. bam!!"

When they barged inside Yasmines office..

everything was normal

There was no sign of fire or anything even the materials on the table remained same.

Fireforce and others: "You've got to be kidding me mister!!"(angry tone)

Office Worker:" I am 100% sure that we saw fire..you can ask Kai Mam and Zoya Mam they were also here with me.."(he knew he was in trouble so he was startled)

Others:"Where are they then?"

Office Worker:"They were right there!!! (he said pointing towards the office door) gosh...where are they now?? did they already leave..!! omg I can't believe they left the Empire when there was a fire..how irresponsible are they...

Other employee: "But no one saw them leaving plus there is no fire"

Fireforce:"Stop playing stupid pranks now !!! Mister we are not your puppets!! you will be charged with penalty for false accusition!"

Office worker: "But..No!! they were here..."

his eyes where searching for them but he saw no one..

(*in mind)they must be inside the office

he rushed to the door and opened it!!

but there was no one, no burning sound, nothing..

...Now Kai,Zoya and Yasmine were...

... nowhere to be seen in the Empire....
