I woke up earlier than I usually do, it’s currently 8 AM. I’ve decided to go to your house to hangout, since yesterday you went to my house, I thought that it would only be fair and equal if I did too, so now that I’ve woken up, I should start getting ready.
After I presented my daily morning routines to no one, I checked one last time in the mirror to look presentable enough and to make sure I don’t look too exaggerated, to look naturally good. I took some snacks I’ve got around a week ago from the cabinet and placed it in a bag,
I think this should be enough.
So I took my phone and everything else I might need, stepped outside, locked the door and I walked towards your house. My heart was thumping fast, I was nervous. I took a deep breath and rang your doorbell.
I heard steps, your steps, then you opened the door and you looked taken aback to see me, but you didn’t say anything and you allowed me inside. I smiled as I went in and I greeted you, you reciprocated. I apologized and told you the reason I went there was to hangout with you and you said that it was okay.
So we hung out together that day. At first we were just munching on the snacks I bought while making jokes and laughing together, but we soon ran out of snacks, so we started baking a cake and we had lots of fun. While you were serious with the cake, I tried taking your attention by gathering a big pile of flour that was all over the table and pouring it on you. The cake, thankfully wasn’t ruined, as your figure covered it, but I definitely succeeded in taking your attention and the flour war started.
It was the best day ever. We laughed, joked around together, ran around and played together, did silly things together and so on. Still, I had to go back as it was midnight already, yes, midnight. I tried to lure more time by distracting you so that I could spend just a little bit more time with you. I knew this would be the last, and I was sad about it, my heart felt very uneasy and hurt about it, but I had to accept it, it was my fate.
So as I went home, I just sat on the ground and looked up at the stars. I told the stars of all the things we did together that day. I felt very peaceful and serene that time, as fortunately, there were no sudden symptoms of my disease. I didn’t sleep, I just sat there all alone, talking to the stars with my legs half crossed and my hands wrapping around them, my chin on top of the space between my knees.
I thanked the stars once again, just like yesterday and I just kept talking to them about the memories you and I have created together until the stars vanished and the sun rose.
