Home Date?

I heard my doorbell ring, I wondered who it was at this time. I yawned, not bothering to check my appearance in the mirror. I lazily walked as I stumbled quite a few times with my half-opened eyes and half-awake-self. I opened the door with my hand and you appeared in front of me. I was surprised and perplexed

I slapped myself a few times and you stood there smiling sheepishly. I widened my eyes as I blinked a few times and slammed the door shut. I shouted an apology, how weird I must’ve looked before and I could hear your heart-warming giggle. I found my cheeks flushing as I smiled to myself and I immediately went upstairs to fix myself. I was so embarrassing I felt like I just wanted to dig up a hole and crawl inside.

Hoping that I hadn’t been too long, I ran downstairs and opened the door. You were still there, when you saw me, you smiled and went in as I pulled the door till it bumped against the wall. I closed the door and urged you to sit down on the mattress on the floor of the living room. You told me that you wanted to chat and hangout with me, you apologized too, for ringing my doorbell so early. I assured you that it was fine and we started chatting.

You brought some snacks so we’d eat some of the snacks and it was extremely delicious. It was like the first time tasting ice cream or sweets. It’s such a unique flavor. We watched some horror movies, in which we both were afraid of and practically stuck with each other due to the very sudden jumpscares. We also watched some disney movies, whereas we almost literally slept due to the lullaby-like-songs.

Then we shared our stories together like the past day, it felt dreamy, it was weird too, how I suddenly felt like my life actually isn’t that boring, that I actually have quite the stories literally proving that I was and I am living my life. I wanted to laugh thinking back again. Soon the sky got dark, and like usual we had to bid goodbyes, so you left and I sighed in content to myself as I tidy up some of the mess we both had created.

Swallowing the pill like usual, I drank the water and I gazed up at the stars, I realized that the stars have been acknowledging and granting my wishes, so I decided to thank them for it, I’m really grateful, thankful and happy that I was able to meet you and fall in love with you. Although I wonder why I met you at such a time... nevertheless, I still am grateful that perhaps I could be content living and happy with these last few days for me to live, so I gazed up on the stars and smiled at them.
