EP - 03. IT DOESN'T MATTER

... Weird and terrific as today..

After that day when the weird incident happened, some days went peacefully and Jia didn't tell anything about it to her mom and she even, almost forgot about the incident herself but Ms Judy still remembered about that message and phone call but didn't think about it deeply.

In the mean time, Jia and her mom also spent some time together at home cooking some of their favorite cuisines and watching movies. They were happy to be with each other after a very long time as Ms Judy was very busy with her office work and Jia was also busy because of school and library. Both of them took one day off from their work to spend time with each other. The days went over leaving behind some happiest memories for Jia .

After these happy days. In the morning, after doing their morning routine, Jia and her mom got ready to start their day. Before leaving for work and school, both ate their breakfast.

After reaching school, Jia was quite confused because everyone was looking at her and talking to each other about her but she was sure that whatever they are talking about her is not something bad as she heard someone saying that, "This girl is very lucky, I am getting jealous now. We also studied so hard, hmph"!! After hearing this, Jia was sure that it is regarding the studies, maybe she knew what it is...

Jia went to her classroom and sat down beside Shaun and Era. She was about ask why are all the students looking at her like this.........Everyone in the class were staring at her.

"Congratulations Jia, you did a great job"!! , Shaun said while passing a chocolate to Jia.......

"Yesssssssssss!! Congo Jia, I knew that you work hard but that much hard, I didn't know.. hehe"!!, Era said while patting Jia's shoulder......

"Ummmmmmmm, can you guys tell me what's happening, I am a little bit confused"??

"What!!! You don't know what's happening. Idiot!!!!! You've got a SCHOLARSHIP"!!!!!!!!!! , yelled Era while clapping her hands.......

Jia was stunned after listening to what Era said. She, at some point knew what's going on but after confirming it, she freezed and was in shock. She didn't say anything. She just put her hands on her mouth and sat down on her seat.........She just said one sentence,

"This is really happening, huh"!!!!!! and gasped in her excitement...

She was clearly very happy and excited to tell this to her mother......

"She will be very proud and happy after hearing this news"!!!!!, Jia thought while smiling brightly....

Every one in the class were congratulating Jia for her achievement ,when a peon came inside the classroom and asked Jia to come with her to the principal's office. And Jia left the classroom.

"May I come in, sir"?

"Oh Jia, yes please come inside"!!, Principal was also very proud of her ...

"So Jia, I hope that you got the news,hm"?? Asked the principal while smiling at Jia.

Jia knew what was he talking about and she quickly nodded her head while feeling very happy and excited.......

"See,Now you have to make an important decision and after hearing me, you can tell me if you actually want to do this or not, ok"!?

Now, Jia was getting confused and nervous when she heard what the principal said but answered

"yes sir, sure ,please continue"..

Then the principal continued to say,

"Jia, you have got a scholarship and it is a very proud moment for this school . ahem!! As you know that our school is just a small branch, the main and higher branch is in some other state. I hope you are getting me. In simple words, I am trying to say that you will have to go to that higher branch school as a transfer student. Ummm and if you want to do so , then your school fees will be cancelled. The facility which you don't have here will be given to you in that school. But you have to think wisely as these type of opportunities don't come everyday. After school ,just go to your mother take some advice and then do what you want to do,ok !! And don't force yourself to do it if you don't want to,hm"!!

"Yes sir, I will discuss this with my mother today then tomorrow, I will tell you my decision. Thank you sir"!

"Hmm, you can go to your classroom now"...

While returning to her classroom Jia was in deep thinking that what should she do as she really wanted to go to that higher branch school but she was scared if her mother would say no ......

After Jia came back to her classroom, Era came to her and asked her,

"What happened, Huh? Why are looking like, as if something unexpected has happened, hm"??

"The principal said that if I will take the Scholarship then I will have to go to some other school as a transfer student and the school is in some other state of the country. He asked me to discuss this with my mother after school and then tomorrow I will tell him my decision. huuuuh"!!, Jia said while resting her head on the desk ....

"hmm, I see. I know you want to accept the scholarship but what do you think, will your mother accept this"?, Shaun said while looking at Jia.......

"Huh!! I think her mother will say a big YESSS "!!!!!! , Era said confidently while smiling at Jia and Shaun.

Both, Jia and Shaun ignored her words because they knew that Era is saying this just to make Jia feel comfortable.......but they didn't know that Era was actually CONFIDENT !!!!

After school, Jia was impatiently waiting for her mother to come home. She was so much in hurry to discuss this with her that she didn't even go to library that day.....When she heard her mother's voice, she came out of her room and went to her mum and asked her if she wanted a glass of water..... Ms Judy was talking on phone with someone and was thanking someone....... After she hung up the call, Jia gave her water and both of them sat down on the couch.

"Jia, I was thanking Era's mother. She was congratulating me for your scholarship and before that Shaun's parents also called me"...... Ms Judy said to Jia.......

"Oh, so you know it mum"!!, Jia said.

"Yes, but why are you here, you should be in the library right"??!!

"Umm I thought if you--

"Definitely Jia, You can go to the other state to study, it doesn't matter ,OK sweetie"!!

After hearing her mother's words, Jia stared crying and hugged her. She was relieved when she heared this. She really thought that her mum will say no but after this Jia got more confident, now she was more inspired and more focused on what she was doing. Jia's goal was to become an international Lawyer.......... and now when she was aware that her mother is supporting her, made her more focused in achieving her goal........

Then Ms Judy said that they should celebrate this big achievement of Jia. She asked Jia to get ready and said that they will go out for movie and will have their dinner at a best and expensive restaurant of the town and will enjoy the night out...........
