THE BEGINNING

It was dark, very dark, one could not see anything.

Lilliana who was lying on the cold floor looked around but couldn't see anything.

...Where is this place?...

...Why can't i see anything?!...

Thoughts started circulating in her mind as she looked around however she could not see anything but darkness.

And suddenly memories of her execution flashed before her eyes which horrified her.

Her eyes widened while her body trembled in terror.

Lilliana tried to look away but couldn't, she squeezed her eyes shut however her eyes rebelled as if she was forced to watch that horrible scene once again.

"...No..Please.." She shuttered.

As the guillotine fell and chopped off her head, Lillana yelled with all her might, terrified as she choked, crying helplessly.

Lilliana opened her eyes and found herself sitting on a tree branch, surprised to see light so much that she squeezed her eyes however before she could realize anything she fell down from the tree branch.

A young boy was under the shade, although he looked like a teen however he was 11 years old, dark skin, turquoise colored eyes that looked like the ocean yet something was different about his eyes, his pointed nose and beautiful pink lips. Everything about him was like a prince especially his hair color, which was platinum blonde which made him look different and good-looking.

He looked up as he heard a cracked sound as soon as he could react Lilliana's foot landed on his face and they both fell down.

The young boy was lying down on his stomach while Lilliana was sitting on his back with a blank face.

...My...body...why is my body so small...!...

Lilliana wondered as she looked at her hands.

"Ugh.." The boy grimaced.

"Get up!"

He shouted which startled Lilliana.

She glanced down at him, seeing his face she jumped up and stood with a shocked expression.

While the young boy groaned in pain as he sat and dusted off his clothes.

...Who is he?...

Lilliana thought as she stared at him.

...What is this crazy girl?! She is just staring and not apologizing, how ill mannered!...

The boy pondered as he frowned.

Lilliana was still confused, she couldn't understand her situation, everything around her changed so drastically that she was not able to think anymore.

"Oh my heavens!!"

A lady approached them with a loud yet worried tone.

"Are you alright, my princess!?" She asked stressfully as she carefully checked Lilliana, turning her around and dusting her off.

The young boy was surprised to hear the maid call Lilliana, a princess.

At the same time, Lilliana was stunned.

..Sh..Shella..!" Lilliana's voice shuttered as her eyes got filled with tears.

Witnessing Lilliana like that both the maid and the boy were surprised.

"Oh no, Are you hurt anywhere?" Shella asked worryingly.

Lilliana hugged Shella tightly as she cried hard.

......what!... why is she crying like a baby?!!...Did she get hurt because of me?...

The young boy stared as he wondered.

"My princess, let me take you back to your room." Shella, who couldn't understand the reason behind her sobbing, carried Lilliana in her arms.

"I apologize to the Young Master, but please follow me as well, you have some cuts and bruises that need immediate care" Shella stated as she headed inside the ruby palace, where Lilliana resided in her childhood days.

"That's alright." He said.

Shella stopped and looked back at him, "Please, if the grand duke hears of this, he will get angry" She said.

...As if he cares.......

The young master said in his mind and sighed.

Hah! Alright, lead the way" The young master replied.

...Well...she did fall from a height so i guess she might have gotten hurt badly for her to cry in such a way.......

The young master pondered as he walked behind Shella.

As they walked through the corridor of the palace leading towards Lilliana's room, all the servants and maids murmured in worries and followed Shella as well.

"Call the physician!" Shella said as she put Lilliana on the bed.

However, Lilliana couldn't let go of Shella as she wept and hugged her tightly.

"Shel..Shella!" Lilliana cried.

Watching her like that even Shella got teary,

"It's alright, my princess... I'm right here" Shella comforted Lilliana.

...Why am i here? How long is she going to cry!...

The young master thought as he frowned his eyebrows.

Meanwhile the physician arrived, huffing as he ran upon hearing the princess got injured.

"What happened!?" He asked.

"She keeps on crying...I don't know where she is hurt.. Please help her" Shella begged, she couldn't watch her dear princess in that state.

The doctor was surprised as well however he grasped the situation and walked towards the princess.

"Princess" He called gently as he patted her head.

"You can let go of Shella, she is not going anywhere" He continued.

...Yeah...at least for now she is here......

Lilliana thought, calming herself down.

Lilliana looked up at him and released Shella from her arms.

The doctor smiled as he held Lilliana's hand and checked her body for any injuries however there was none except a few bruises from the tree.

...He does not seem like the royal physician....why is she getting treated by some side doctor?...

The young master thought with a serious expression on his face.

While the doctor prescribed some ointments and painkillers for the princess and then checked the young boy.

He frowned but did not complain as he wanted to leave as soon as possible as if he was getting suffocated in that massive yet luxurious room.

"Please be a more cautious young master" The doctor said with a smile after checking him and prescribed some medicines for him as well.

That young boy was not pleased with the situation, he walked off without saying anything.

...Whatever it is...does not concern me!...

He exclaimed in his mind and walked away.

Meanwhile, due to the painkiller, Lilliana fell asleep as she had no energy left in her body after crying her heart out.

After the doctor took his leave, Shella sat beside Lilliana and stroked her head gently.

"Please do not be sad my princess, it pains my heart to see you like this....i wish the queen was by your side....oh lord, please take away all her pain and sufferings." She said and kissed Lilliana's forehead.

So sorry i took a whole year...probably, to write a new chapter.

Guys I've never abandoned or will abandon in the future.. Although i leave for, some time, i do come back so please wait for me 😭
