THE DEATH PART-1

Once upon a time, on one fine day, the light blue sky was clear with no clouds, it was a beautiful sight.

There was a big palace, very big, it was grand and luxurious, every wall and its pillars had gems stoned in them which is why the palace was known as, The palace of Diamond.

Behind the palace, there was a greenhouse, specially built by the King for his Queen. It was beautiful, all kinds of flowers were planted, every different kind and color. The King doted on his wife the Queen, that is what everyone knew.

Inside the greenhouse, a beautiful young lady was standing, caressing the flowers with her soft gentle hands. Her long silky shiny silvery white hair was windblown, her white pale skin looked very soft and delicate as if she was a porcelain doll.

"Sis!! Where are you?" A person came inside the greenhouse and called for that young and beautiful lady.

She as well was a young perhaps a bit younger, that lady's hair was black as the night with dark pink eyes, which stared at the lady. Her name was Ruby, a beautiful name which suited her according to her parents.

As Ruby had called out for that young lady, she slowly turned around with a bright smile on her face which was dazzling her beauty more and more, her red eyes which was the devil's sign looked angelic on her face yet terrifying for some reason hence why it was called the devil's sign.

For a second Ruby stared at her with a serious yet suspicious look but then she smiled along with her eyes.

"You are so beautiful, Sis Lilliana" Ruby said and kept a flower wreath made up of fresh flowers on that lady's head.

Lillian was her name, beautiful isn't it? Lilliana held flowers in her hand and was smiling wholeheartedly.

"Thank you Ruby!" Her soft sugarcoated voice echoed in the greenhouse.

"Father Emperor is looking for you sis" Ruby said as she smiled for no reason.

Whereas Lilliana was confused, she nodded and headed outside the greenhouse.

Meanwhile Ruby looked at the flower for a second with a serious expression and then walked out after crushing the flower with her shoes on the ground.

"Slowly slowly i will take everything from you" Ruby said with a dark expression as she gritted her teeth.

Lilliana was already 19, a perfect age for a girl to get married, she was engaged with a neighboring country's crown prince.

As Lilliana walked through the corridors towards the destination of the audience room, servants and staff were avoiding to meet her eyes and were whispering which was making Liliana uncomfortable.

...Huh..what is wrong with them, why are they behaving strangely these days??...

Lilliana glanced towards them and was astonished as they didn't bow their head but actually were detesting her with their eyes.

Lilliana ignored as she sighed.

...Why did my father suddenly ask for me? Is it something really important?...

Thoughts started circulating Lilliana's mind and she finally arrived at the front door of the audience room.

"The..Princess is entering" The guards let the emperor know of Lilliana's presence as he announced her and she entered.

The atmosphere was gloomy and dark, many nobles were standing which was quite unusual. Their cold stares were poking Lilliana, she felt an ominous feeling as she looked around as she walked towards the emperor, who was sitting up on the throne, looking down at her with a cold gaze.

Lilliana was surprised to see the crown prince of the neighboring country standing beside the emperor with a smile on his face, which felt fake and annoying.

"Greetings to father" Lilliana bowed elegantly as she greeted the emperor.

"Tomorrow, Ruby will get married, with the crown prince of the East, Jared Brown!" Without responding to her greetings, the emperor stated what he wanted to say, he voice was cold and filled with hatred.

Lilliana was shocked as well as sad, very sad, she lowered her head and was silent, Lilliana, she was hurt every time she would meet her father but today it was like a disaster.

"Your answer?" The emperor coldly asked as he frowned in anger.

She looked up and faced the emperor and said with a happy face, "I'm...very happy...to know that...father..."

Lilliana glanced at the prince who was once her fiance, she became astonished as he was still smiling, it was annoying to see however Lilliana suppressed her anger and was silent and accepted everything.

"Then..i will take my leave" Lilliana said as she bowed and turned around to leave and then a maid barged inside.

She was out of breath, the guards held her as she committed a crime by barging inside the audience room. She cried and begged as she said.

"Please..listen to me..Lady..ah..no I mean..princess Ruby collapsed!!" The maid said which made people freak out after all she was the apple of their eyes, mostly the emperor's.

......Not lady but Princess?? What is going on??...

Lilliana couldn't help but think.

The emperor stood up in shock and asked again as he climbed down the stairs.

"What did you say!?"

The maid flinched and said again with all her courage, "Princess Ruby has fainted after coughing out blood"

The audience room felt in chaos, people started murmuring.

"Quiet!!" The emperor yelled leading others to keep their mouth shut.

"Summon the royal doctor right now!" The Emperor ordered and walked outside the audience room.

Lilliana too was worried and so she walked towards the door but then the maid held her arms and said with an evil smile.

"Your time is over" She said confusing Lilliana.

Lilliana frowned and walked outside after pulling back her arm.

"What did she mean by that?" Lilliana mumbled as she walked through the corridors back to Ruby's room.

"Perhaps, revenge?" Jared Brown whispered in Lilliana's ears, jolting Lilliana, she turned around and found him standing in front of her.

"Your actions are quite rude, Your highness!" Lilliana said as she frowned.

Jared Brown smirked and held a strand of Lilliana's slivery white hair and kissed on them, it was obnoxious, is what Lilliana's eyes said.

"Are you angry that you are no longer my crown princess?" He asked with a sad face, making Lilliana uncomfortable, she narrowed her eyes.

"I do not have any right to be angry, If Ruby wants this then I'm fine, as long as she is happy, my feelings don't matter" Lilliana said and walked away while the prince was stunned.

Suddenly, he started laughing and then said with a serious mood, "You are quite naive, Lilliana Alec De Diamond"
