Kidnapped by a Mysterious Man

I groaned as I rolled over and turn off the stupid alarm clock who was trying to ruin my sleep. Just as I was about to be cradled by sleep again, another noise echoed in my room.

"Karina Santiago!"

I stood up and was wake from my sleep. It was no other than my mother who is now fuming with rage beside me. I glanced at her back and my heart skipped a beat when I saw the broom she's trying to hide in her body.

"Good morning, mother dear!" I gave her a force smile, trying hard to mask my nervousness.

Broom...

It was my mother's weapon in discipling us back when we I was a kid. As you can see now, I still fear her ultimate weapon.

"What's so good about this morning!? Can't you see you are running late from school?"

I looked at my alarm clock and my eyes widened as I saw it was almost eight o'clock. I hurriedly entered the bathroom and took a bath.

In just fifteen minutes, I was on my way to school. Walking from home to school is not a problem since I just live across the streets.

"Good morning, sir!" I did a quick salute as I pass through the gate. Since I knew him and we're bit close, he let me in.

"Don't be late again." He warned and smiled so I smiled back.

When I reach the classroom, a teacher was already handing out test papers.

Oh no! How could I forgot that we have an exam in Mathematics!? I'm doomed!

Plus, how could I sneak in without the teacher noticing me? Should I roll like a ninja? Or just stride toward my seat like nothing happened?

"Karina"

A familiar voice called out my name. I pivoted and saw a handsome boy standing so close to me. I squeaked and took a step back. Why is he here and so close to me?

I think my heart is going to explode from beating so fast. It was Zain Anderson, my long time crush. Actually, he is every girl's crush. What kind of person who won't fall for him?

He's smart, kind, caring, friendly and most importantly, he's handsome. With his jet black hair, mesmerizing green eyes and dashing smile. He can make a girl fall for him with just a smile.

"Y-yes?"

"I called your name three times. Why aren't you entering the room?" He asked and took a peek inside. He probably guessed the reason why I can't go in yet.

"H-how about you? Why aren't you entering the room?" I managed to utter a word. I felt the hotness that rise towards my cheeks.

"I was doing work in the Student Officer's office and your kinda blocking the door." He said shyly.

My cheeks flushed and move away from the door. Oh my! How dare I blocked my crush's path. I'm so ashamed.

"If you want to, I could help you hide from our teacher's sight."

Ba-dump~

I prevented myself from fainting by pinching my arm. And I also want to know if I am dreaming or not. I guess this is real!

"You would do that for me?"

"Yeah, well, you are my classmate."

"Thanks!"

"Anytime"

His plan to sneak me inside the classroom was simple. Since he is taller and bigger than me, I was able to hide at his back. Luckily, my seat was just one seat across his so things go according to our plan.

This is probably the closest I could get. I notice a faint smell of a men's perfume. Gosh, this is the best day of my life!

I mouthed 'Thanks' to him before he goes back to his seat. Fortunately, the teacher infront didn't notice my presence.

However, I can feel the heated gaze my seatmate drilled unto me. This seatmate is my friend Allisa who's probably can't wait to tell her why I came in with the campus crush.

I passed the exam with flying colors. Of course I would! I was highly motivated by what happened just this morning.

It's already lunch break and I'm on my way to the cafeteria when someone ambushed me from behind.

"Ow!"

I cried when someone heavy jumped on my back. I almost lost my balance because of Rose, my other friend. Allisa was at my side, she adjusted her cat eye glasses as she gave me weird stares

"Where are you going?" Rose asked, pouting.

"The cafeteria? I didn't eat breakfast today." I answered in a 'Duh! Obviously!' tone.

"And you leave us behind? Don't you love us anymore?"

"Rose, stop being dramatic and you, our dear Karin, tell us what just happened a while ago?"

I totally forgot. When it comes to gossips, Allisa is always there. There is no issues or gossips that Allisa don't know.

"Let us eat first. I can't express something with an empty stomach."

While we were enjoying the foods, I told her the story and I can see the disappoinment reflecting in her eyes.

"That's it? I thought it was juicy."

"Well, at least that's a first step for your love story. Should we call your in couple name ZaRina or KarAin?"

My cheeks flushed at what Rose just said. Isn't it a bit too much? Then again, Rose is an extreme person with an advance thinking.

"Ohh! By the way, have you heard of the transfer student from the class next door? They said he was so handsome." Allisa said in excitement.

"I heard about it! They said he was on par with the campus crush!" Rose added.

"Really? There's no way someone would be on par with Zain. He's in another level."

"Of course you would defend him. You're biased. Just wait till you see this guy." Allisa said in her challenging tone.

"I'll pass." I said bluntly and finished the food I was eating.

Time flew so fast, school already ended. Since our way home was different, the three of us part ways.

"Goodbye! See you tomorrow! I'll miss you!"

"See ya! Too bad we didn't see the transferee."

"I'm not really interested. Bye!"

I was about to cross the street when I remembered something.

"Shoot! I need to buy some materials."

I looked at the time.

Good, the stationary store is still open. I ran from school all the way to the store. I was barely breathing when I came in. The sun had already set and there are only few people inside. Good thing I came here fast.

"Thank you! Please come again!"

When I went outside, I checked everything if I bought all the materials needed before I started walking.

I looked up at the night sky and saw a lot of stars. This is the first time I saw this many stars. When you live in the city, you can barely see the stars so I'm glad I witnessed this amazing scenery.

And then, something weird happened. While I was enjoying the view, a black spherical hole popped out. It blocked my view from the moon.

I knew I have to run. I have a bad feeling about this thing but I can't, I was frozen in place.

Seconds later, something jump out of that hole, or someone. He landed gracefully even though he just jumped twenty feet from the sky.

It was a person.

A person dressed weirdly. He was wearing a black robe, as if he was part of a cult.

A cult!? Is this guy a demon?

I jumped when our eyes met. Strangely, he has an icy blue eyes that's probably uncommon here. Who is this guy?

"You.."

I felt a chill when he spoke. I took a step back and was about to run but in just a second, he was infront of me. He was so close I could hear his breathing. He gently gripped my wrist and yanked me towards his arms.

"I'm so glad you are safe, Princess." I can hear the relief and sincerity in his voice. My face is still buried in his chest so I can't ask him what's going on?

Princess? Is he talking about me?

"There is no time, Princess. We need to go back before everything would fall into chaos."

I'm glad he pulled me away from his hug but he didn't release me from his grip. It was so awkward for me.

"W-wait! I think there's a misunderstanding. I don't think I'm yo---"

I didn't finished my sentence because all of a sudden, he jumped towards the black hole dragging me towards it.

'Wait no! This is a mistake! I'm not your princess!' is what I was about to say but no voice came out of my mouth.

I have no choice but to just looked back at the black hole who became smaller, leaving me trap with this mysterious man.
