Okay, I need to calm down. I started to calm my breathing and get ready for work. I grabbed a hoodie and threw it over my chest, then put on ripped black jeans. I grabbed a pair of sunglasses and put them on. Light was hurting my eyes because of my concussion.
I grabbed my keys and my wallet and walked out of my apartment. It's going to be okay, it's Friday and then I have the weekend off.
I'm working part time as a model for photography college kids. The college is one of the best in the country so I was surprised that they gave me the job.
Not to be arrogant or anything but my looks aren't average. I have light sliver hair with bright blue eyes, a mole right under my left eye.
I was skating down the street when I saw a group of men in black suits looking around the area suspiciously,
I skated faster in fear they were up to no good. I don't need to be caught by the police again. They'll think I have something to do with them just because of my background.
I made it to the college two minutes late, Luckily I didn't need to take any stops like last night.
Now that I think about it, I wonder what happened to that cat? I hope he made it out. Te hospital didn't say anything about him, so no news is good news right?
After checking in with security, I walked into the photography club room. "Leo! Where were you yesterday?!" One of the photography members, Tina, jumped onto me, latching onto my shoulders and wouldn't let go. I hissed in pain but didn't push her off.
"Tina let go! You're hurting him!" William, a senior, pulled Tina off of me. I rubbed my sore temples and sat down on the scene they set up for me. There were blue and grey flowers all over the place, a ladder in the middle and a green screen behind it. I sat on top of the ladder.
"I was in a car accident and have a concussion," I said in an uninterested tone. The kids looked at me shocked and they all asked if I was okay and told me I shouldn't be here. I need the money or I would still be at home sleeping this concussion off.
"It's fine," I said with a smile, taking off the sunglasses. "My face doesn't have any bruising so you don't have to worry about it messing up your photos," I said jokingly and they all looked at me with sad eyes.
"It's fine guys, really, if you're that worried, hurry up and take pictures of me," I said with a mischievous chuckle.
After some hesitation, we went on with the photo shoot. I thought my eyes would fall out before they finished but it didn't take as long as usual so I was grateful.
Now onto my next part time job...
