Episode 5

Cain:

"We watched movies yesterday and ended up not sleeping well, but still went to school the next day. Levi is always surrounded by so many people... He is so popular... During the last class, the teacher said he wanted us to do a group project, with a maximum of five members and a minimum of three. As soon as he finished speaking, the classmates started shifting their desks frantically to form groups. I was just waiting for everyone to settle in so I could ask the teacher to work alone, when suddenly I received a message from Levi.

{*Want to work with us?}

{Is that okay with the rest?} - I asked him.

I looked at him, and he was at a table with three other guys, but as soon as they saw Levi call me, one of them nudged his shoulder and whispered:

"You’re not going to invite Cain, are you?"

"Of course I am, why? Do you have a problem with that?"

"No."

He started typing again.

{*They’re excited!ᕙ(＠°▽°＠)ᕗ} - "Liar, you know that."

I went to sit with them; the atmosphere was uncomfortable for a while, but Levi started discussing the project and how we could divide the tasks among participants. He likes to feel in control of things. Once the tasks were assigned, we just needed a place to meet for research and work.

Julius - My aunt doesn’t like it when I bring people home.

William - My room is being renovated; I’m sleeping in my parents’ room, and given the time we get back from school, my dad will want to take a nap.

Gabriel - My mom doesn’t like Julius and Levi.

Alex - I thought we were going to work at Levi’s house.

Levi - My dad isn't in a good mood with me, and he doesn’t like Cain.

Cain - Why the hell did you even form a group if no one has a place to work!?

Everyone looked at me and turned to Levi.

"But you have your house, darling."

".... argh....! Fine."

I didn’t want to bring those idiots to my house, but I wanted to spend more time with Levi. Class ended, we stopped by a convenience store, bought some snacks and drinks, and headed to my house. They came in and started looking around; I don’t even know why, there’s nothing special here.

"There’s nothing valuable to steal here."

"Screw you, Cain!" the three exclaimed.

We sat down and started dividing the parts of the project. Meanwhile, Julius opened a pack and took out a candy; they were little cakes filled with marshmallow cream. Everyone grabbed one, but when Levi bit into his, the marshmallow squirted on his face and started dripping. I said,

"Ah! Wait a minute!"

I grabbed a piece of paper, and just as I was going to hand it to him to clean up, Gabriel said,

"You have a really delicate face... don’t you, Levi?"

"What?"

"Look at his face now; doesn’t it look like he just gave someone a blow job?"

We looked at Levi’s face, but I shouldn't have looked; it hurts to remember, but... what a stupid face! Levi became serious and very embarrassed, then he took the paper from my hand and started cleaning up. I turned my eyes back to him.

"*If you say something like that to him again, I’ll rip your dick off.*"

The mood shifted from awkward to tense.

"It’s all right, Cain."

".... Sorry, man" said Gabriel.

After that, Levi managed to steer the conversation back and we finished as quickly as possible. That jerk... I have to be careful around him. When it was time for them to leave, Gabriel apologized, but I didn’t respond; I just clenched my jaw and stared at him. The three of them left, and Levi stayed behind, saying he would accompany me because of my sleepwalking.
