3. Unexpected guest

There remained a silence between both of them, many questions had been going through their minds at this point. "I'm sorry maybe i got the wrong house" Elizabeth stated with a little unsureness. "No, i don't think so" Gabe said silently. "W-wait are you the person Drake was telling me about" Elizabeth asked. "Drake?" Gabe questioned as his mind now wondered to the earlier conversation of a close friend of his coming to stay at his house for a while. He thought for a moment before realizing that Elizabeth was the one drake was talking about. "Yeah! wait how do you know Drake?" "He's a friend of mine" Gabe stated simply.

As silence took over, Elizabeth took a moment to admire the man that stood in front of her. When they first met he had been in formal wear with a black button up shirt, and black pants as well. But now he was in a more homely attire. She couldn't help but gawk at the man who's shape can be seen a little through his white loose shirt. The clothes perfectly fitted the guy, as it outline his muscles which weren't big but not small either.

Elizabeth quickly shot her head back up to meet her eyes with Gabe as she realized she was staring. "U-um come in" Gabe stated not sure on how to go about the situation he found himself in. "Thank You" Elizabeth stated as she made her way in with her suitcase held tightly with both her hands.

Elizabeth glanced around the house, it was big from the outside but seemed much smaller than expected in the inside. It was very cozy looking, and fancy as well. The color of the walls were a grayish- nude color, and the furniture in the living room were a dark grey. The living room was pretty spacious and the kitchen was set right in front of it. Behind the living room was a black staircase which led to what Elizabeth could guess were the rooms.

"I'll be right back" Gabe mentioned, catching the glancing woman's attention. Elizabeth nodded with a smile in response. And with that Gabe made his way upstairs to his room, hurriedly he grabbed his phone and dialed Drake. "Hell- well finally you picked up, i kept calling you like 20 times now" Drake said with an exhausted sigh. "Drake, what exactly is the name of this person you're sending over?" Gabe asked with curiosity in his tone. "Oh well am guessing you just met Elizabeth. Jet black hair with bangs, freckles, average height, and let's not forget beautiful, does that fit the description?"

Gabe sighed and replied "Yes." "Oh so you admit she's beautiful huh?" Drake said with a mocking playful tone. Gabe rolled his eyes at his friend's childish manner. "But yes, she's staying just for a while. And Gabe please try and make her feel at home." Gabe sighed as he listened to his friend, a feeling of relief had washed over him knowing that Elizabeth was the one staying. It definitely would have been much more difficult if it had been someone else. But with Elizabeth, he had a feeling that this wouldn't be so bad. "Okay" Gabe stated. "Thank You broskey, you know i love you right?" "Yeah, whatever" Gabe replied in an exhausted tone. Drake only chuckled in response, and the call was ended.

Gabe made his way downstairs, as he found Elizabeth sitting on the chair glancing around the place. Gabe smiled to himself. as he thought that Elizabeth looked similar to a toddler who glances around at a new place. The sound of footsteps coming closer could be heard which caught Elizabeth's attention. "Oh Gabe" Elizabeth said as she stood up, her smile widened. "Hi" Gabe replied. "Sooo" Elizabeth stated as she now wanted to know why she ended up here. "It turns out that you will be staying with me for a while. According to Drake." "Oh well then that's great, i honestly didn't know that you were a friend of Drake. Although he did talk about one person in particular, something about them being from California and being a very close friend so am guessing that's you" Gabe simply nodded in reply.

A silence remained as Gabe took another look at Elizabeth. Her hair was tied up in a neat ponytail which he could now study her features more. She had beautiful milky skin that was bright and clear under the light. Her almond shaped eyes, along with her dark brown eyes that slightly glistened. Her medium lips that were a little plump, and pink. And as well as her soft jawline that complimented her features. Gabe slowly gazed at the woman up and down, Drake was right she was indeed beautiful. And Gabe wasn't sure why he was having such thoughts about her.

"Okay let me lead you up to your room then" Gabe said breaking the silence. Elizabeth smiled and nodded as she went to pick up her suitcase. She followed Gabe up the staircase as she took a glance around the place. There was a room leading up that could immediately be seen as soon as they reached the top of the staircase. Gabe passed by the room and led Elizabeth to a room that was further away from the previous room. As they made it there Gabe opened the room and Elizabeth walked next to him. She took a look around the room which looked pretty decent, it had a similar theme to the house, with a grayish-nude wall, there was a queen size bed that laid in the room that had grey sheets. There was also two draws with big brown lamps that laid on either side of the bed.

"Well here is your room" Gabe stated still facing the room. The house had 2 bedrooms and although the extra room wasn't needed as he wouldn't be having any visitors over, he was glad that he had one. "Feel free to decorate it how you like" Gabe stated again. "Thank You so much, Gabe" Elizabeth replied with a wide smile plastered on her face. Gabe slightly smiled and nodded as he started to make his way back into the room. He planned on going over other important things tomorrow as he was already exhausted and was dreading to go to sleep. And so was Elizabeth. "Hey Gabe?" Elizabeth said stopping Gabe in his track to look at Elizabeth. "Goodnight" she stated with a smile. Gabe's heart jumped a little at the statement, a small exhausted smile was now on his face as he responded "Goodnight."
