"Zheng-tai" commanded, "After setting the cameras, you two should come out and stand by my side. We have work to do."
Moments later, a loud bang echoed, and Zheng-tai demanded, "Who dared to barge in without the owner's permission?"
Guard-man 2 recognized Zheng-tai as the prince who helped with the thieves, and Soldier-man 1 was perplexed by the wanted individual standing next to him.
Zheng-tai claimed, "He's my adopted brother. I heard you said the prince wants to eat him? How cruel!"
As the situation escalated, She-ying and Yuan-hue whispered to each other, anticipating a fight. Zheng-tai stepped forward, warning the soldiers to leave, but they charged, only to trigger traps set by the trio.
Hours later, the soldiers still screamed in agony, and She-ying covered her ears. Yuan-hue noted the chemical should have worn off, but Zheng-tai coldly replied, "If they added more water, the pain will increase. It's not our fault they didn't ask for help."
As the full moon rose, the mysterious figure struggled with possession, and the trio debated what to do. Zheng-tai suggested using garlic spray, despite its previous ineffectiveness. After spraying, they waited, and to their surprise, the figure transformed into a cute, fox-like creature with big ears and little fangs.
Zheng-tai named him "Hu-li" (fox), which Yuan-hue found disappointing, expecting a more fearsome creature. She-ying suggested alternative names, and Zheng-tai decided to bathe the creature, now called "Hu-bian" (fox-ordinary).
As the night ended, She-ying fell asleep, and Yuan-hue blew out the candles. Zheng-tai finally finished bathing Hu-bian and prepared for her own bath, leaving Hu-bian to wait.
As the night drew to a close, Zheng-tai settled into bed, cradling the little fox in her arms, his head nestled between her breasts. Minutes later, she picked him up, remarking, "You haven't fallen asleep yet, good boy." She rubbed his head, and he arched his back, opening his eyes.
To her surprise, he had transformed back into his human form, albeit not fully - his ears, tail, and teeth still remained. "You're really heavy, get off me!" Zheng-tai exclaimed, kicking him gently.
Hu-li sniffed, "Your scent smells like liquor."
Zheng-tai corrected, "I think you mean my shampoo; it scents like peach. And do you know the most important thing in the human body is the bones?" She kicked him again, and Hu-li cried out, "Ahhh, I think you broke something; I can't stand."
Zheng-tai reassured, "No, I didn't. You can get up in the morning; by then, your legs will move. Sleep tight, and don't let the mosquitoes bite." With that, she slammed the door shut.
Hu-li wondered, "I only wanted to ask what happened to me, but I don't know why I didn't ask. I thought you would run away after seeing my true self... and I smell liquor on her; is it the bath tub?"
The next morning, Yuan-hue and She-ying approached Hu-li, offering to help alleviate his pain and assist with his treatment. Zheng-tai whispered, "I don't think they know..." leaving the reader wondering what secrets she held.
