I open my eyes slowly, and although the light in the room is dim (almost nonexistent), I can distinguish three figures in front of me who seem to be carrying weapons.

I try to speak, but my nerves won't allow it. Besides, I have some tape over my mouth, which was surely placed by these men.

"She's awake," one of them said. "Call the boss."

The boss? Who the hell is "the boss"?

I try to move, but it's useless. I'm tied up both at the feet and hands.

"Relax, little one," I hear near my ear. "You're here for the common good."

The common good? God, every word these men say only confuses me more.

Two of them move away from me a bit and start talking, while another goes in search of "the boss." Despite the distance, I can hear the conversation, which without a doubt revolves around me.

"The boss will love having her here," I hear.

"No doubt he wasn't wrong in asking for a girl as sexy as her," he points at me.

They both fall silent when the lights in the room turn on. Now I can see more clearly. I'm in a kind of spacious warehouse. Also, now I can perfectly see those men who were talking about me. One is completely bald. I'm sure I could see my reflection on his bald head, and the other has long, black hair. If I'm honest, his hair looks better taken care of than mine.

The door of the place opens behind and that's when I start trembling again. My hands become soaked in sweat again, and my heart rate increases even more.

"Is she her?" I hear behind me.

The voice I hear is deep and sounds threatening, so much so that it gives me goosebumps in an incredible way.

"Yes, boss, it's her," they answer the question.

"She's perfect."

I close my eyes tightly while I hear that subject approaches slowly.

"Open those beautiful blue eyes, babe," he whispers.

I open my eyes slowly to reveal that I am not the blue-eyed girl mentioned. My eyes are brown, the most common color.

"I'm Elias Walton," he says at the same time he begins to remove the tape from my lips. "You're Emily Johnson, right?"

"No," I said with fear. "I'm Mia Parker."

Elias turns his back instantly and hits a small table hard, making me jump with fright.

"Damn it," he says before walking towards one of his men. "She's not Emily Johnson."

"Of course she is," he assures with certainty. "We were following her and..."

"She's Mia Parker, not Emily!" he shouts.

"She's still pretty, even more than the girl you ordered," the bald man replies, trying to control Elias's anger, who immediately hits his nose, causing it to bleed.

He looks at me again, but this time with fury, so much so that I fear for my life because I don't know what this guy is capable of.

"It doesn't matter," he approaches me again after letting out a big sigh.

"What are you going to do to me?" I ask with a weak voice.

"Relax, babe," he puts one of my strands of hair behind my ear. "I won't do anything to you, and neither will Abel and Adam. On the contrary, they will take care of you from now on."

"Then why do you have me tied up here?" I said with a frown.

"There was a slight confusion," he replies. "But you still serve me."

"Serve you?" I raise one of my eyebrows.

"I know you don't understand anything right now," he puts one of his strong hands on one of my thighs. "But I'm going to explain it to you."

Elias moves away from me a little, takes a chair located on the white wall of the warehouse and sits next to me and lowers his gaze towards his shoes.

"You're young, you must be 19 or 20 years old."

"I'm 17 years old," I said, correcting him.

"Younger than I thought," he whispers.

"Tell me once and for all why you have me here!" I shouted with desperation.

"Shhh," he puts his index finger on my thin lips. "Be quiet or you'll really get to know me angry."

He begins to remove his finger over my lips, smiles before leaning his back completely on the chair and looks at me fixedly with those striking emerald green eyes.

"You will carry my future child in your womb..."
