The sheer amount of people who came due to my signal filled me with joy. There were enough people to be able to make a functional, makeshift area. And if we stay in a group, it will ensure the survival of all of us. Now all we have to do is wait till someone comes and rescues us.

"Who made the fire?" I looked over to where I heard the booming voice and met Haru Sato's deep amber eyes. I felt a chill roll down my spine then questioned it...

"I did." I said. Locking eyes with him and not daring to look away.

"It would be a better idea if we all were in a group, considering that we are all stranded here together." I was not going to break eye contact. Since he is here he should start noting who is really in power here.

He gave a laugh and smirked. "And what makes you think all of us will work together. There are some of us who would have a better chance of surviving if we get rid of the weak ones."

"Haru, I know it is hard for you to use your brain but at least try for once in you life." Vladimir Amato locked eyes with me and gave a smile that I knew all too well. "I'm sorry about that, this dimwit doesnt speak for us all." He shot Haru a silencing glare in which he grumbled at. "I do believe that sticking together is an excellent idea. And the fire was a good idea." His blue eyes twinkled perfectly with a beautiful smile. Hmm, I need to be careful with this one.

"Thank you." I looked towards the group and continued. "Though I would love to start working on a plan to start sustain ourselves, I believe that many of you are exhausted by this experience. So for the meantime, get your rest until morning." I beckoned to makeshift beds made out of leaves and soft brush. I would like to make them more comfortable but due to lack of time this is all I could make.

I stared out at a beautiful sliver of the moon and bright stars who's reflection rippled in the waves. I smiled. In the city, the stars were never this bright. I looked over towards the camp of sleeping students and smiled. It's good that they are all safe. I caught my self after I thought that. Since when did I care that much about other people. They are probably just nice to me since they know I will keep them alive. Speaking of that, I should search for fruits in the forest.

I made my way through the forest, carefully noting how far I was from the camp and how to get back. I saw birds of all kinds sleeping in warm nests. If there is prey there is a predator. I have to keep my eye on that. I looked around the trees and found it. A citrus tree. Perfect. I made my way to the tree and plucked its plump fruits. Perfect for vitamin c. I was so happy that I didnt notice the pair of glittering dark blue eyes that watched me return to the safety of the camp.
