Plan

I needed a plan. Where could i go? Where to start? As I started to walk along the streets i saw a paper stuck to a street lamp. It read:

STUDENT MURDERED-

WHO DID IT?

I Knew. I knew what had happened to her. I felt a tear rolling down my cheek as i looked at the small picture of her on the newspaper. It was of Aina wearing a pretty light blue flowy gown, with her bright, tender smile. Then i would get flashbacks to that day. That scene. Who was Chrome anyways? He was my bully, and then suddenly he kills her?! Calls me Honey?! My mind wanders off to the same thoughts i’ve been having ever since that scene. I can’t go back to my house now, can i?

But it was worth a shot, maybe i could check through my windows to see if he was still there, but he couldn’t be there forever right? He had to have gone home, for at least a bit. I raised my hand and waved over a taxi to go back home, or halfway at least. I walked the rest of the way, to try to relax. I found my house and started to try to look through all of the windows from the outside.

The lights were off, and last time i was there, that were so so i reckoned that he had gone out for at least a bit. I slowly turned the key and with my shaking hand, opened the door slowly. Isn’t this how all of the characters in horror movies die? It did sure feel like i was in one.

I stared into the dark entry room of the house, and took a few cautious steps forward. I silently closed the door behind me. All i could feel was my breath and my heart beating faster and faster.

ba-thump ba-thump ba-thump

I reached over with my shaky hand to turn on the light switch.

Click.

The lights turned on. I didn’t see him. yet. I started to walk quickly, but still trying to be quiet. I checked the living room, bedroom, and bathrooms. He was nowhere to be seen.

Phew.

I only had one last place to check, which was the kitchen. A sauntered over and didn’t find anybody standing there. I felt relieved, but that only lasted a second. A glanced over at the marble counter to find a small sticky note. It read,

Don’t worry, i’ll be home honey

Love, Chrome

no no no no no

I ran to go lock the front door when it opened righty as i was about to reach the handle. Chrome was home.

I took a few steps backward, before full on sprinting. I couldn’t bear to look at his face any longer. I can’t believe that i ever thought his face was cute, and-

wait. What did i just say?

I was still sprinting away and up the stairs while being flustered at my own thoughts. Let me out let me out let me out let me out

i’m sorry aina. i’m still too scared.
