Their Goal

Beep, beep, beep. Ili´s  groaned. Any other day he would have violently hit the snooze button but today he was too tired to move a muscle every single part of his body felt sore.  Even though he didn't want to get up he knew that no matter how much he wanted to stay in bed in the end he would have to get out and start the day so he decided not to waste time.  He  flipped on the light switch and a the bright light filled the room  caused him to blink a couple of times in order to adjust to it, he opened the door and the smell of butter and herbs hit his face. He entered into the dining room to find a half awake  Blake sitting at the table  holding his tea with both hands. In the kitchen you could  see Prem  making some scrambled eggs.

¨Good morning.¨ Prem said while pinching some salt in the pan.

To be honest Ili´s was kind of envious of the fact that Prem could wake up early in the morning and already be so awake.

Prem set a plate of eggs in front of Blake and Ilis ¨Eat up then go get ready we have a big day ahead of us.¨

You would think that Prem was more leader like than Ilis  which is  kind of true. The role should have gone to Prem because he is the oldest, but instead  the role was given to Ilis because  Prem didn't want to  be leader for personal reasons and they decided not to give it to Blake because he was the  youngest  and didn't want to give him such a big responsibility.

In the end it all worked out. He was glad and thankful that all of their hard work  Finally payed  off.

¨Hey  you alright.¨

He looked up still lost in thought, he could feel his lips moving but  couldn't make out a sound,  he would  hesitantly open his mouth but proceed to close it again. The boy in front of him just stared blankly. He felt a hand on his shoulder that made him flinch but  still didn't say anything.

¨Don´t worry about him, the realization is just finally sinking in, the realization that were not just some minor group anymore.¨

¨Yeah I guess your right.¨ Blake smiled  ¨ I remember that we were just  trainees like it was yesterday but then I have to remind myself that it wasn't possible because yesterday we were Idols preforming at our own concert and  It felt great. To be on stage preforming in front of others, to be able  show the world what we can give." He looked at Prem. Who then returned the  same smile that Blake gave to him.

¨ Then lets keep doing that.¨ The cousins turned to Ilis, ¨Lets keep showing the world what we can give.¨  the cousins nodded in agreement.

¨Now if we plan to get anything done we should get ready.¨ Prem said

¨Come on dad we were having a moment.¨ Blake whined

¨who are you calling dad,¨Prem snapped.

Ilis chuckled as he saw the two bicker He knew that he was in for many great years.
