FIVE

You're met with a strange wooden ceiling as you open your eyes. Feeling your body ache, you hiss in pain when you try to sit up straight.

However two hands make you lay back on your bed. You look at the person and gasp when he's too close to you that one cm might be longer length compared to the distance between you two.

"Don't try to sit up, yet." He whispers smiling with his signature bunny smile. You slowly nod still looking at him. Something feels different. You pull yourself out of your thoughts and question him, "w-why?" Your voice cracks and you close your eyes due to embarrassment. Soon he leans back to stand.

"Just rest for now." He orders and you nod as you drown in his eyes. You shake your head 'what are you even thinking?'

"Samuel...." you breath out as you remember being bitten by him. Your hand reaches your neck but the skin is as smooth as you reme- mber. You look at Jungkook with questioning look. He avoids talking to you as he asks you to rest before walking out of the room.

You lay on the bed for some minutes. You close your eyes as you recall what happened a few minutes ago. Somehow Jungkook got more attractive to you. You couldn't just your eyes take off him. There's something that pulls you to him. You groan as you remember that he probably like Sua. Anger boils in you at the thought of that particular girl. You close your eyes trying to control your stupid anger.

"Y/n." Your mother enters the room and approaches you. Your eyes never leaving the ceiling. She brushes your hair, "y/n, is something bothering you?" She asks and you turn to look at her.

"Where am I? What happened? And I'm feeling wierd. Didn't Samuel kill me? How did-" she cuts you off noticing that you're panicking as your breath becomes stiff.

"Y/n, relax. Everything is alright for now. And you're at a erm....what shall I call this place? Maybe a doctor? She's a werewolf and she treated your wound." She explains how Jungkook found you that day. You're asleep for 5 days after the treatment.

But she doesn't tell you the main part of the incident. You being marked.

"I want to eat pizza." You plead to your mom and she chuckles at you. "Wait, I'll be right back." She leaves and you drown in your thoughts again.

After eating and washing yourself later, you made your way out of the room. Not familiar with the place you need to be awarded due to your struggles when you finally reach the kitchen and you just wonder how everything is made up of wood here. Opening the fridge, your eyes glisten at the sight of chicken.

Taking out the food and heating it using the microwave, you sit on the dining table about to eat. But you stop when Jungkook is about to enter the kitchen.

"Hi, y/n." He smiles at you which you gladly return but your smile drops on one thing. 'How did I know that he was gonna enter?'

You push your thoughts away and eat the chicken filling your stomach which was growling in hunger.

"Yeah, it was so much fun--Y/N!!" Khai shouts as soon as she sees you. She jumps towards you hugging like her life depended on you. You hug her back and you felt something wet on your neck. She's crying.

You break the hug looking at her eyes as she looks down. She never cried before. "Khai, I'm fine now. Don't cry."

"I thought I was never gonna see you. I was so afraid because you were fine but you didn't wake up. You fool, you made me worry too much." She hugs you tightly again and you return the hug smiling.

The other guys shudder at both of your actions and walk away.

After some days you're allowed to go to school. You find yourself being nervous as you look around the classroom. You don't wanna see Samuel. Khai sees you being all panicked and worried.

"Samuel has left the school." You look at her with a thankful look and she goes back to her works.

These days you were really confused of yourself. You would vomit sometimes after eating. You felt really strange.

After the lunch break starts, Khai drags you to the cafeteria although you wanna stay in the class.

"Y/n, you're here!!" The guys shout as soon as you enter the cafeteria. You wave at them and take a seat with them. Khai sits beside Taehyung. You sit between Jungkook and Jin.

"I see you're fine now." Jungkook says and you look at him mouthing a 'yes'. He goes back to eating and your eyes never leave his side profile. When did you start liking him this much?

"Y/n, how are you feeling these days?" Jin makes you break your stare at Jungkook and you look at Jin.

"I feel okay, I guess." You smile at him. He smiles back, "Jungkook did a good work saving you." He states as he drink his cola.

"It's so stupid of me. I haven't even thanked him for that." You whisper to Jin and turn to your left where Jungkook was previously sitting at. But your heart breaks when you see him not in his seat. He's talking to a girl who's sitting on the chair next to your table. Something in you flicks and you blink your eyes to remove the blurry vision that appears in your vision.

"I didn't get to thank him. Who's that girl?" You ask through your gritted teeth to Jin who doesn't notice your angered expression.

He shrugs, "While you didn't come to school, she came as new here. Her name is Jieun, I think."? You stand from your seat.

"I'll go to restroom." You say and immediately leave the cafeteria with heavy heart.

Washing your face, you look at the mirror. You're breathing heavily and your throat felt like burning. Splashing the water over and over you close your eyes. It feels so strange. Somewhere inside you, you can feel burning sensation.

Taking a deep breath, you smile at yourself before heading to classroom.

After few days

You lay on the bed. Recalling the past few days, you kick the blankets off your body. You really needed someone to talk to about these events. But you're afraid. You didn't know what was happening.

At midnight, you'd find yourself laying on the grass in the middle of the forest. You don't wanna know what was happening to you but you are curious.

You look at the time and it's almost time for school. You get ready and head to the school.

Once you reach the school, you can see Jungkook and Jieun walking together. You curse under your breath, 'what a good way to start the day'

You reach to your class and see that there are majority of students absent.

"Why are there so less students?" You ask Khai as you reach to her seat. She replies, "There will be no classes today so we're allowed to do anything. The teachers have their annual meeting today."

You hum in reply and place your head on the desk looking at her. She was really the friend that everyone needs. Her phone rings and she looks at you apologetically. You laugh and signal her to go. It's probably her lovesick puppy, Taehyung. She runs outside.

You sigh feeling alone. Standing from your seat once again, you walk outside. As you're about to reach the cafeteria you see Jungkoo and Jieun. Your feet stops as you see that Jieun kisses his cheeks and both of them giggle. You take a step back, almost falling. Turning your feet you run where your feet lead you to.

You now realize that you have feelings for Jungkook. But you're afraid because this doesn't feel like a small crush or whatever that you used to term about you liking any boys. This feels something wierd. Your heart feels like it can suffocate anytime soon.

Before you can realize, you're in the forest again. This place is really far from the school as you cannot even see your school and even any building far far away. Your knees touch the ground when you feel your bones itching. Yelling, you grab your hair out of frustration.

Your bones crack as your eyes close in pain. Feeling your tears, you panic because it feels like you will die right now. Your body falls on the ground and you squirm in agony.

Opening your eyes, you growl looking at the ground. The paws grow their pointed claws. The white fur that seems beautiful but dangerous at the same time. The tail wiggles softly with the wind. The teeth emerge out as the wolf howl in sadness.
