Chapter 5 - Starnge building

I was sweating like a dog by the time I made it to the 6th floor of this building. Every floor that I have been on has about 10 doors so far that I've seen. The stairs are making me feel like I'm going in circles. It's like they're going around and around forever that is until I see a black number on the wall which I'm assuming is the floor number. Why did I decide to climb up this many stairs? I'm exhausted. I look at one of the silver doors for a moment and decide to go up to one and see if there's anyone inside. I knock a few times on one of the doors but there’s no answer. 

    Then I try opening the door and it’s locked. Not really very surprising. I take a step back and look at the whole door again, when I see a peephole on the door. I try to look through it hoping to see someone. When a purple light comes on and shines in my eye, I quickly jump back and fall flat on my butt on the floor one of my arms behind me holding me up and the other hand covering the eye that the light shined in. Then I hear a female robotic sounding voice say scanning scanning. After a moment it says Beep access denied, only Naomi can enter this room. What the hell and who the hell is that? Did that door just talk? Beep if you are lost try saying instruction, that’s the last thing the door said before the purple light turned off. 

    I stared at it for a moment still trying to grasp what the hell was going on. I gulped as I stutterd the word instruction. This is really starting to freak me out. I wince my eyes and turn my head slightly to the right thinking that something bad might happen, because luck hasn't really been on my side lately. After a moment of silence I readjust my position sitting on the floor and look up at the door. So I was hearing things, I let out an awkward laugh at that thought, I must be going insane, I might need to find a hospital. Right after that thought the purple light from the peephole came back on and the door said beep state your first and last name. I'm still kind of confused as I stutter my name “Y Yomi Akisato”. There’s a short pause before the door says calculating calculating. Since when do doors talk, I asked myself before the door began to speak again. I have found your room. It is on the highest floor of the building, floor 12. Your room number is 126, and it will be the last door you see. For more information go to your room and let it identify you, and when your inside and the door closes say ok I state your first and last name am ready for answers. That’s all the door had said before it beeped and the purple light shut off. 

    I quickly stand up. This is not right, i'm starting to freak out when I take a deep breath and say to myself ok Yomi calm down just think about this for a second. My mind goes blank for a moment then I start thinking I was locked up, not tied up, I can’t find any people, there’s a random building in what I hope isn’t the middle of nowhere, and now doors are talking and telling you that you live here. I can practically feel myself stressing over this. Wait the door said that my door would have answers, but that makes no sense. I turned to look back towards the stairs, and just seeing them made my limbs feel heavier, I apparently had to go up 6 more floors to get said answers. I start walking back towards the stairs and think why am I even listening to a door for all I know I've gone insane and someone put me in a mental hospital.  I'm so done with this, I just want to go home and sleep for a few days. As I reach the stairs I sigh and say I guess I have no choice and start to walk up them.
