Chapter 2 - Mud

The next day, Auntie Precy and I visited many new places in Alegria. First we went to the JA foods farm - the largest farm here in Alegria and even in the whole province. As far as I know, they import the product in and out of the country…

The tour in the farm is boring but mama and papa enjoy it because of the breeze. I, on the other hand, was irritated by the mud attached to my flats. I want to remove the mud but I can't because we just keeps on walking!.

Maggie, on the other hand, takes picture after picture. Where does she even upload that? There is NO WIFI HERE!!

No choice, since I'm the maknae I just stared at her as the camera clicked.

"Let's go next to Tinago falls!" Said Auntie Precy. "It's so different now, it's even better!"

Auntie Precy is right. When I was in grade six, Tinago Falls was still undeveloped. Now, it's so beautiful. The water is smoky at the tip of the falls and there are also a lot of cottage in the sorrounding area.

"Let's take rest here, what do you think?" Mom asked.

“You want hot baths don't you? It's cold here. Let's just go to Alp Spring! ”

We got there after fifteen minutes on the tricycle.

There was a group of my peers bathing in the 6-feet deep hot spring across the street. I could clearly see the men back-tumbling while the women screamed. I just shook my head and looked again at my muddy flats.

“Rosie! Let's take a bath! ” Maggie yelled at me.

I just grinned and fakely smiled at Maggie while I gestured that I would just follow later.

The teenagers here think that they are at the top and the best while enjoying life here, the truth is, they are all peasants and bumpkins. I shake in emptiness.

"Rosie, are you not going to take a bath?" Papa asked.

“Not anymore, pa. I took a shower at home earlier. ”

Then I heard Mama and Auntie Precy talking.

"Juan Antonio is also the owner of the new farm and adventure zone in front of Alp Spring."

I left at the cottage and watched Maggie bathing in the 5-feet spring and dad in the 6-feet spring.

"Breakfast!" Said Maggie after the dive.

I looked for wood or any stick to remove the mud from my flats. I sat down on a big tree and took some sticks on the other side to remove the mud. My ghosh!! The struggle is real !

BUKID IS WORST! To my annoyance, I almost broke my flats…

A large lump of mud flew from my flats and actually landed on the sparkling handsome abs of a man that is part of the teenagers that I've been eyeing before. His body was wet and gosh!! He is only wearing black shorts!! I'm dead. Bye

Bbomm!! Then I realized that my eyes hadn't been removed from his abs.

“Is this yours?” He asked with the lump of mud on his abs.

I frowned, "Do you think someone owns that?" I couldn't help but be annoyed by his question.

"Rude, You are the one at fault so why are you being a b*tch? ” He said and he removed the mud from his sparkling abs.

SPARKLING.

I shook and removed my eye from his body and proceed to remove the mud from my shoes.

Body with sparkling abs? Here on the farm? Maybe that was shaped by him being a farmer. He's been plowing everyday so he has a body like that. That explains it! Of course! It's just a pity that he's handsome because they're even poorer than rats. LOL! I'm a b*tch but he's also rude. Hmmpp

He shook and sighed. He walked over to my back because I think the shower andCR was there.

"Aren't you even sorry?" He asked and stopped behind me to look at me again.

"Jacob!" The other men and women in the distance shouted.

They were the ones who were backtumbling before.

"Wait for us!" They shouted again at the man in front of me. He just nodded and looked at me again.

He sighed again, "Ugly with a bad temper" He whispered to himself but seemed a little louder for me to hear.

I could feel all the blood flowing from my body to my cheeks. I stood up and restrained myself from screaming as he walked away.

NO ONE IN THIS WORLD HAS SAID I AM UGLY! Thanks to mama and papa that have good looks. Mama is white, papa is handsome and has a sharp nose, mama has puffy eyes and beautiful hair, papa is tall, mama has smooth, red and -angelina-jolie-like lips, thus Maggie and I's are pure beautiful and handsome! There are a lot of people who is courting Maggie… and Lloyd del Rosario is the my EX - the most handsome in our entire campus in Manila! I know Lloyd has had many girlfriends and they are all beautiful but I am the best!

HA! HA! HA! And that man? He called me ugly?

Why am I surrounded by rude men!?! Even dogs can't eat their bad habits!!

ESPECIALLY THAT JACOB !?

“Gosh!! I would eve like to say sorry to a person who is handsome yet have a bad temper! Hmpp.” I shouted and prayed that he would have heard that.
