His voice was cold when he said the last sentence and his eyes were glaring at like he's about to kill me.

I immediately slap him in annoyance! He didn't bulge even a bit with my slap so I just ran away! Running away for my dear life.

I went home after I failed purposely my exam. It's March now and it's a good thing I won't be able to see Lloyd's face again!

I hope I can't go back to that school anymore! I still have one year to finish high school but I hope I won't go there again. I'll just pray be hopefully admitted in another school. But I know that's impossible!!

My sister and I ran to mama and papa with a suitcase and hugged them. Mama and papa are home !!! They have been in Canada for a few years too! They come home every two years but I don't expect them to come home now. Mom was crying as she hugged us.

"Ma… I told you, you did not have to go home." Said Maggie.

Maggie is my college sister. And why did does she know that mama would go home and I didn't?

“I can still find some work here and there so that Rosie can finish high school. You don't have to go home. ” Maggie continued.

Mama wiped away her tears.

"Maggie, what are you talking about?"

I said immediately and nervously.

"Pa, why?" Dad was just staring at nothingness.

“Mom, please? Let's not leave here. ” Maggie said while crying too.

“Canada is in Recession Rosie. Your dad and I was fired… The economy there is collapsing. We don’t want to tell you what happened. We can only pay for this house for a year, but that's still not enough. We have to leave and go home to your dad's farm- “

"What?" I shout.

“No! Ma! No! ” Yes. I wanted to leave our school but I didn't say I wanted to live with the buffaloes and goats on dad's farm!
