Raylyn then accepted the mission. Then he went with Humabon and Humaling. Of course he told them about the mission but it took them for a couple of minutes to understand each other but so far they got the gist of it. So they went with Raylyn to the south where they last seen the rebels and that is now marching from Batanes. After a couple of hours of searching and walking they found some clue. There was a blood dripping down the soil. It was a trail and Humabon analyse the clothing by picking it up and saw some red woven clothing with some brown grass. "Natitiyak ko na may labanan dito. At hindi lang yun. Ang damit na ito ay sinusuot ng mga Ibatan." (Translation: I am pretty sure that there is a fight that happened here. And not just that. This clothing are what the people of Ibatan's wearing.) Then Humaling added "Sa pagkabase sa bagtas. Dumayo sila sa landas kung saan nakatira ang mga Ibatan." (Translation: Judging from the rough trail. They went towards the road leading to where the Ibatans live.) Raylyn analysed as well. He knows there is a fight and the blood leads the trail to somewhere but he doesn't where. Of course Humaling explained to Raylyn by gestures and small words like Ibatan and pointing on the road. Judging by the explanation, Raylyn understood that it was possible that the rebels are marching towards where the Ibatans live. Most of them got the idea now and so they ran towards the road until they reached the place. And they have already arrived and wrecked havoc on the village of the Ibatan people from Batanes. The rebels wore distinct clothing of red loin clothes with tattoos of the sun and moon. They have large two edge s of the blade and the Ibatan people couldn't fight back in close range. They seem to use some sort of Anitu magic called Anitu/Anita also known as Ancestral Worship Magic. They channeled the dark spiky blast from the rebels and most of them were injured and killed but they are too many of them. So Raylyn joined in the fight and protected the people of Ibatan by slicing the rebels with his strength, he enhanced his blade with light magic and killed five rebels on the process. Humaling kicked six rebels one by one with immense speed and sliced their throats with his sundang blade. Humabon climbed on a tree and launched himself on a group of rebels as he spins his body like a mini tornado and sliced their head in half. The rebels kept on coming as the three of them depended the stone houses of the Ibatan people and the Ibatan themselves. They took a little breather after clearing the first wave. Then Humaling asked Humabon "May nararamdaman akong hindi maganda. Napakarami nila. Ano ba sa tingin mo ang pakay nila dito." (Translation: I have a bad feeling about this. There are too many of them. What do you think there goals are in here.) Then Humabon "Hindi natin alam. Ngunit, mamaya na natin alalahanin yan. Kailangan natin silang ipagtanggol sa ngayon." (Translation: We don't know. However, let's worry about that later. For now we need to protect them.) Raylyn then nodded in acknowledgement. Even though he doesn't understand what he said. He could feel their intentions through their actions.
