It is a really good harem/rom com anime it can be chaotic and insane it's also extremely hilarious so let's begin To LOVE-Ru (anime) To LOVE-Ru (To LOVEる (To Rabu-ru, To LOVEる?)) was produced by XEBEC , directed by Takao Kato, and aired in Japan between April 3rd and September 25th, 2008. It consists of twenty-six episodes, following a different storyline than the manga, until the anime refocused back to the manga in future OVAs and season sequels. This led to negative comments, due to many episodes being filler. Reviews on the OVA has been slightly better since they adapt manga chapters.

In December 2018, North American licensor Sentai Filmworks confirmed an English dub covering the entire first season was being produced. In November 2019, Sentai Filmworks announced the English dub cast and that the dubbed series would release on March 31, 2020. Motto To LOVE-Ru Motto To LOVE-Ru is the anime sequel to To LOVE-Ru. The series was first announced in 2010, and the first episode was aired on October 5, 2010. Motto To Love Ru was produced by Xebec and directed by Atsushi Ootsuki. The show is made up of twelve episodes with three, seven-minute-long stories in each episode, much like the sixth To LOVE-Ru OVA. The opening is "Loop the Loop" by Kotoko and the ending is "Baby Baby Love" by Haruka Tomatsu.

Sentai Filmworks have licensed the second season in North America and released the complete series set on DVD on April 3, 2012;[1][2] the Blu-ray set was released on May 27, 2014.[3] The English dub version of the series was released on February 16, 2021.

While the first To Love Ru anime series made many differences from the original story, this series follows the manga more closely, though the chapters are in mostly random order. This lead to the series being better received by fans of the manga, along with critics. A second season, titled To LOVE-Ru Darkness 2nd, began airing in July 2015. The anime adaptation of the sequel focuses on more maturity than the previous anime sequels. The series still retains its usual perverted comedy, except with a serious focus on its story plot and character development, especially around Yami. The series provides more censored fan service during TV airing, while following closely to the manga. To LOVE-Ru Darkness 2nd To LOVE-Ru Darkness 2nd (To LOVEる -とらぶる- ダークネス2nd, Toraburu Dākunesu Sekando?) is the second season to the To LOVE-Ru Darkness anime adaption. The production was announced on December 21, 2014. It was officially aired on July 6, 2015. Three original video animation (OVA) episodes produced by Xebec and directed by Takao Kato were shipped starting on April 3, 2009 with pre-ordered copies of the manga's 13th, 14th and 15th volumes.[18] An additional three OVA episodes were released with the bundled version of the 16th, 17th and 18th volumes.[19] Six OVA episodes of To Love Ru Darkness were produced by Xebec and released with the limited editions of the manga's 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 12th, and 13th volumes on DVD on August 17, 2012,[25] December 19, 2012,[26] August 19, 2013, December 4, 2013,[27] December 4, 2014,[28] and April 3, 2015,[29] respectively.   A fourth OVA episode to commemorate the 10th anniversary of To Love Ru was released on November 2, 2017 with a book titled To Love Ru Chronicles.[37]
