Chapter 5

"Stop at that yellow tree" the mister said carrying my mother and I follow his order to stop. We got down in the horse and there's a mansion "Help Miss Katherine is de-dead!!" the mister shouted and many people came to help and some of them was having a shock faces.         "Omyghad this can't be true" the miss with a maid dress muttered "She has no heartbeat, do master know this?" She ask "No, I- I don't know how to say this to him." The mister said "And this lady here?" she pointed at me, the mister look at her with serious look "No way, this is her?" The mister nod his head "omyghad she looks really like her with his father's hair, a black hair and her mother's eye green" the miss sob and hug me. "You're so big now, you're already a lady" she look at me with adoreness "How old are you right now?" "15" I say "There's no time for a talk, let's get Miss Katherine inside the mansion right now".

When we got inside there's many people watching and some of them are crying I can hear them sobbing. "Do they know my mother?" I question myself. "What is your name lady?" the miss who hug me back then ask "Elora" she smile and "Elora what a beautiful name, come with me" she lead me up the mansion and into one of the mansions bedroom "Elora you'll be staying here, I'll call you if all the things are done for your mother's funeral" she said " but I can help" "No stay here and rest Elora, sleep so you'll have the strength to face your mother's funeral" how kind "Miss what's your name?" I ask while one of my tears fall down "Marfeye".     "Miss Marfeye thank you am really am thankful" she hug me and said "You'll get through this Elora, I'll be here always by you side." I cried from her comfort "I can't and I failed to protect my mother" I said while crying at her arm's. How I wish this is my mother. "You did not failed, it's just that  your mother's faith is unfair" I still cried "And we can't change the faith Elora my dear" I don't want to hear any of it anymore.

I cried my self till I fell asleep. I saw my mother in my dream she was beautiful bas always, caring as always, funny as always, strict as always. Wishing that I won't wake up from this dream so there's no pain I have to suffer and here in my dream, atleast am happy here in my dream. I have my mom here in my side talking to her

When morning came I can't move my body, my mind is blank but filled with sadness. I hear a knock in the door. "Elora are you awake?" I can't move my mouth, is that mother? "Elora it's Miss Marfeye, are you okay? Did you rest well?" Oh what am I thinking. Mother already left me. Miss Marfeye open the door and see me awake and she smile at me. "Elora let's take a breakfast" "Mom, my mom?" "Elora your mother is already at the coffin. Would you like to seer her right now?" Of course I'd like to see her she's my mother "yes I'd like to".

When we got down I can see the whole mansion filled with flowers a rare flowers. Miss Marfeye lead me to my mother. "Elora this way" my hand is trembling my heart is beating faster, I just can't. When we got there I can't control my emotions, suddenly my knees are on the ground. I crawl to her coffin like a homeless child. Looking at her face, she's so beautiful as always. "Mother am here" I whispered at the coffin "Mom am here" "Mom am here" I whispered again. I feel like fainting and my head hurts. I wanna hug her and kiss her cheeks. "Ahhhhh!!! Mom am here please! Don't leave me! I can't! I don't want you to leave me!" I burst in to tears while screaming everything what in my heart wanted me to say "Please mother!! I break down. "Elora dear, we also feel how you feel but Katherine is gone" "No she can't do that. What about me?" I scream at them "am still here!". All those screaming make me weak. All these crying make me weak. 

"You being weak and crying Elora will only make Katherine sad" a deep voice at the back "She will be mad if she knew you were just a weakling she left behind" it's the red eye man in Mr Cesar's house. "But my tears won't stop falling and I can't control them!" I yell at him "How could I not cry when my mother is dead!" "Do you want me to laugh?!" "Am not saying that and am not here to pick a fight. Am here to mourn Miss Katherine" "Then mourn quietly!". When I look at around me every body is staring at me, it's like am a monster. My tears won't stop, it's like a river. "Don't look at Katherine like that" the red eye man said "You Don't need to say that" I turn around and look at my mother's coffin. I still remember every night she would tell me a bedtime story even though I tell her that am already 15 and not a child, but she won't argue with that she would still insist telling me story's about everything she know and considered that as a bedtime story. She would smile at me every time I spar with my bow. Oh I forgot our horse mely. She would take our horse by the side of the river and to groom our horse, I love seeing that again. She would cook the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner for me every day.    Sometimes she's strict but I love that about her.   I love everything about my mother, especially her smiles.
