Chapter 2 : Mister

"No, Im gooed-" (No I'm good)

Xul tried to answer in a normal tone, however he stuttered but just smiled like he never did. the concern Zyren tilted his head and asked :

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm okay, but-"

'But?'

Zyren was confused as the other stopped speaking. Xul wanted to say something to Zyren but he shook it off as he have to think it over again. He then continued to ask a differently to Zyren.

"It's already late, don't you have to go home?"

"Ah, about that, yeah, my mother called for me just now. "

Zyren answered and realized that it was really getting late, he scratched his head and smiled. Xul on the other hand started to walk away, thinking that he shouldn't bother the main character of the story and just work on the sidelines to help him.

"Okay, see you around"

"Um"

Zyren hesitated to let him go as he tried to reach for him, however Xul hurriedly walked away to the door and eventually disappeared from his sight.

'He is not a normal person'

A voice in Zyren's head said. It was the half soul of his past self 'Kazimir'. Zyren nodded his head as he agreed to his other self's comment.

"I hope we meet again"

He said as he entered the door and walk down the building's stairs.

Xul was running away.

"Huff~! Huff~! haa~"

Xul was catching his breath as he stopped at the nearby bus stop.

"Ugh- I regret running away like that"

"Huff~! Huff~! I'm not even alethic "

Xul ran so fast just to get away from Zyren, for now. However he regretted his action when his body felt so much fatigue that he couldn't breath, so he sat down and rested as he watched people and buses come and go.

He closed his eyes and felt his breath being stable. However closing his eyes made him drowsy and fell asleep.

The next day

"Achoo-! Sniff sniff Ugh~"

Sneeze, sniff and groan in the morning was heard, people were avoiding the shabby man with long hair and dirtied clothes as he passed by the street.

'I regret it, I really regret it'

Sonata, who caught a cold from sleeping outside last night in Xul's body was ranting inside his head for forgetting that this character did not belong to this world.

"Haa~! Why life is so cruel"

Sonata remembered that, he woke up after 30 minutes he closed his eyes and got on the last bus, but forgot that he didn't have money to pay for it, so he walked out of the bus and slept at the bus stop.

He let out a sigh as he continued to walk without direction. He raised his left hand and started counting what he is lacking.

'In this world, I don't have a house, food, clothes, not even a good night sleep, I don't even know where I am going'

His counting of what he need, turned into rants, but he shook his head and stopped counting as he saw a familiar building.

[Hunters Association]

The association of hunters built to fight monsters outside the borders of the 'City of Zacrete'. It consists of people who awakened their powers, Tanks, Elementals, Fighters, and Assassins who volunteered, no, who do this for money and tied to the government because of that.

Xul stopped at the front of the building with a serious expression on his face as he recalled what the Hunter's association would do during the war, when the monsters broke through the cities four surrounding walls. They would only care for themselves and prioritize saving the government officials instead of helping the helpless citizens of the city.

"Sigh~"

He let out another sigh, as he walked away thinking why did he make the hunters that way in his novel. However, he stopped on his tracks as he heard someone shouting from behind. He turned his body to look at the person who was shouting however he flinched as he noticed that this person was going towards him.

"Mister! Mister!"

A woman with short height, red hair and brown eyes was calling him, He looked at his back to see if there was someone behind him but there was no one. Then the woman stopped in front of her.

"Mister!"

"Huh? Why are you calling me mister?"
