Chapter 3 — A Startling Contact

[March 16, 2022 / 12:15 am]

After the Yuyumpa Siblings and Chunti made a deal, as the mission goes on, they reach a certain somebody who's vigilant. It was Nemi, a senior companion of Chunti they had contact with.

Silence broke in and it was terrifying the inner self of him. It was his first time meeting the siblings unannounced, and even Nemi knew how bad their influence was.

"Well, greetings. It's nice to meet you, Sir Nelenzo Kellett." Xinyao was the first to break the awkward silence.

Nemi did nothing but stared into Xinyao's eyes, as if there was something dreadful lying insight..

" Let's talk somewhere else private " Chunti barged in as she suggested. Everyone agreed and followed her to a spare storage room, it was dark and dusty but was enough for a simple privacy..

"Let's get straight to the point, Sir Nelenzo. Do you know a student named Sanche Celestial?" Cirau said as he was getting impatient.

"Sanche Celestial? Well, yes I do know her. She's in the class next to mine.."

And with just a simple answer, came hope to the Yuyumpa's..

"Do you know if we could meet up with her?"

"I'm not yet sure. All I know is that she has cram school afterwards"

"I see, well if that's all you know then thank you for your time. Are there any more questions?" Cirau said as he turned around to Xinyao and Vivia, they shook their heads off as a sign of none. "I guess that's all, then we'll be leaving then..

The siblings walked out of the storage room and left in a hurry, as they left Chunti was there standing with Nemi.

"Are you okay?" Chunti asked as Nemi nodded. " I'm fine, but what relationship do you have with them..?" Nemi asked.

"Hmm? It's just a Dynast to Servant kind, nothing else." Chunti replied as they left the storage room, headed to the classroom.

On the way, Nemi was very vigilant. He had a strong instinct predicted ahead, he was much more conscious of himself. It was quiet along the way with Chunti, that even she noticed it. Chunti stopped her tracks and looked back at Nemi's eyes which were full of fright.

"You don't look well, were you intrigued by them?"

"Why wouldn't I be? And in the first place, why were you with them? You know how bad their influence is, so just why?"

"For fun"

..... " Are you an idiot Chunti? They're literally the 5th biggest gang around here. Who knows what'll happen to you if you get any closer to them.. You should know that I'm worried for you.."

"Well I'm not. And besides, it's my choice to regret it. So no need to take part in it. I'm not even part of their gang, so I basically don't have any authority over them."

The both of them went into full silence, staring into each other's souls.. It was odd for the both of them to see each other like this, as if the both of them turned to their polar opposite side..

As the silence continued, Chunti raised her hand and held Nemi's hand and walked..

Nemi was surprised and nervous at the same time, knowing that Chunti wasn't her current self today.. Where Chunti was headed was unknown, until she stopped at a vending machine.

She checked in and bought 2 cans of Fanta. "Here, drink some. It's my treat", Chunti said as she handed it to Nemi.

"So what are you going to do afterwards?"

"Don't know. I guess wait? The aftermath is still unknown, but I guess it isn't bad to do crazy shit like this.."

"You know, almost everything about you is unreadable and unpredictable. Like what is happening right now..."Nemi said as he faced Chunti with concern.

"That's one thing that's obvious." Chunti said as she chuckled, but Nemi's expression still didn't change..

(*Pre-Bell_Rings)

"Well that's the bell, let's head back to class. "

Chunti stood up as she pleated her skirt with her hands, she then threw the can of Fanta and took Nemi's hand..

"Who knows if I'll be someone's nemesis? If you're concerned about it, then I won't. Even a hundred of them won't concern me, I'll just spit shit on them." Chunti said as she chuckled once more, holding Nemi's hands as they made their way to the classroom.

[6:01 pm]

Class was finally over, and it was very late. The school's hallways were full of silence and creaking, as if one were in a horror movie..

Students have already gone home, and so did Nemi. The only one's left were the four of them, lost...

"Vivia's PoV"

It's already this late, and I haven't seen Miss Queen yet, I wonder where she is. Xinyao and Cirau has tried contacting her, good thing we shared contacts, although it didn't work..

I'm very worried for Miss Queen, I wonder what happened. What if it's connected to that male..? What if he's a bad guy? What if he's a spy for Sanc-

"Hey, Sis. You okay?" Cirau said suddenly, which made me free of my anxiousness.

"Yeah, I'm just lost in thought. Haven't found Miss Queen yet?" I asked with a hint of hesitance.. "Not yet, she hasn't been answering yet. Her phone must be off" Brother Cirau said..

It has been 12 minutes since dismissal came, yet no sign of Miss Queen.. I wonder what happened..

As my eyes began watering, I noticed someone at the distance running towards us.. I couldn't see closely as my eyes were watering, a tear ran down my cheeks..

I rubbed my eyes to get rid of the tears, but as I did, a hug came next. It was Miss Queen..!

"I'm sorry if I took so long, I had something to take care of" Miss Queen said as she gave me a tight hug, of course I hugged her back.

"Well, since Chunti is here, let's go" Cirau said as he turned on the car engine, "Let's go Chissy~!" followed by Xinyao who entered the car.

Following me and Miss Queen, we drove home..
