Chapter 2 — The Yuyumpa Siblings

It was a quiet night around, but with the two around, it got louder almost every second. Vivia already took the call to her brothers a few hours ago, so they should be here any minute now.

Although we were strangers at first, it's quite fun being with her. Vivia made Chunti such a happy girl as she is right now, it must be a blessing from the 'heavens' right..?

The doorbell rang, it must be her brothers..

"I'll go get it!" Vivia said as she ran towards the door, opening it. She was greeted by her brothers at the door and let them in. As soon as they came to the living room all happy and smiling, they spotted Chunti sitting at one of the Lawson couches on the right, and immediately came to eye-contact.

"Hm? Is that the woman you told us about?" One of them asked Vivia, "Yes it's her!" Vivia replied, with the two brothers of Vivia in eye to eye with Chunti, the atmosphere was going down the drain.

It was very tense already, and silence came whooshing through.

"Xinyao, Cirau, come and sit down! I'll go get some snacks while at it" Vivia said as she went to the kitchen on the other side.

The living room was now filled with overflowing silence, not knowing who'll make the first break of it..

"So, let's introduce ourselves, shall we?" One of them said as he shattered the silence.. "Good Idea, I'm in" Chunti replied, and so did Cirau as he nodded.

"My name is Xinyao Yuyumpa, and the eldest of the family. I thank you for taking Vivia in" He said as he smiled, with a polite and grateful tone as well.

"Cirau Yuyumpa, the middle one.." He said with a disturbing tone, it looked like he was tired..

" My name is Chunti Aphelion, a senior student at Xenqiu" Chunti said as she showed signs of shaking and overwhelmed..

"Miss Chunti, are you scared of us?"

That one question made Chunti petrified in an instant. She was just enjoying her time a few moments ago, and now she's drowning her perception in a daunting sea of fear..

As Chunti was engulfed with fear inside her, Xinyao and Cirau noticed the hard-wrapped bandage on her ankle, and went back to Chunti's eyes that were full of fear..

Xinyao suddenly stood, and walked closer to Chunti. Sitting beside her as she placed one of his hands on her other shoulder. Cirau stood and went to Chunti's other side..

The situation could have gone any worse for her..

The both of them were so close that Chunti felt their fanning breath against her neck, which made her shiver with an unknown feeling. Xinyao and Cirau were both playing with her hair for a minute or two, then suddenly..

"You're so pretty, Vivia was right about you looking so gorgeous and elegant.. Like a Queen I supposed.. Right, Cirau?" Xinyao said as he placed his hands against Chunti's thighs and squeezed it, making her feel shivers down to her very spine..

"She's pretty, I'm craving for it.." Cirau then said, with a smirk as he intended to..

Chunti was in a desperate situation, she needed help otherwise the situation would get even worse..

Both men were touching her at different places, and Chunti couldn't do anything but cry inside, knowing she wouldn't stand against these two men.

Luckily, the fortunable person came, "Miss Queen, big bros!! I got the snacks!" Vivia came as she was holding a tray full of snacks and pastries, with some juice in hand. She placed the tray on the table and sat, looking at them in a peculiar way..

"Well, since Vivia brought some snacks, let's talk out shall we?" Xinyao said as they both took their hands away from Chunti and grabbed some snacks.

"Now, you mentioned that this gorgeous lady right here knows a way to connect to Sanche?" "Yes, she mentioned having a senior accomplice who might know of her" "But it doesn't mean we are to be safe, what if there are any spies wandering in the school, disguised..?" The three of them talked, which disturbed Chunti..

"You said you need to find this Sanche, right? I recommend you first register into the academy, they don't allow outsiders without a legal pass to enter after all." Chunti suggested..

"Don't worry, we just came back from registering in the school. We can now have full passes around the school as students, right? We brought the uniforms too"

" I see.." Chunti looked at the clock and noticed it was already late. " It's already 8:30 pm, we should go and sleep early otherwise we'd be late." Chunti said as she headed to her bedroom.

"Miss Queen is right, let's go and sleep early. There's an extra bedroom next to hers, both of you can use that. I'll go and sleep with her. Goodnight!" Vivia said as she had a smile plastered on her face, and left.

"Well, shall we head off to bed Cirau?" "Sure" Both headed to the room Vivia mentioned, placed the bags filled with unknown stuff inside the closet.. And turned off the lights, then fell asleep..

[March 16, 2022 / 7:12 am]

It was morning and they were on their way to school, with Cirau being the driver of the black audi. They hadn't had breakfast yet, so they turned around to Chunti..

"Any good places to eat breakfast?" Xinyao Asked, as he hummed.

"I don't usually eat a good breakfast, but if pastries do, then there is a bakery ahead." Chunti replied.

The four of them arrived at the bakery, to Chunti it was very pleasant to her eyes..

(*Door-Chime_Rings)

"Welcome to Ciàossótó Bakery! What would you like to order-?" A female staff member said as she smiled while laying the fresh pastries in the glass display.

"Good Morning Ippi," Chunti said as she showed a smile.

"C-chunti??! I wasn't expecting you'd come here.. This is a surprise!" Ippi said as she giggled in joy.

"Hey Ippi, I want 2 of these." Chunti said, and Ippi replied with "Got it!" gleefully.

"What would you three like? There are plenty of yummy pastries here" Chunti asked as she pointed at the glass display.

"Hmm.. Oh! Isn't this Minchohoppang??! Hey Miss Queen, may I have 2 of these?" Vivia said as she jumped excitedly, her eyes shone bright lights of happiness..

"Sure! How about you two?" ...

"Anything is fine with me!" Xinyao said with a happy tone, while Cirau nodded as he pointed at the melonpan.

"Ippi! Can you add 2 more of these and add 3 red bean dorayaki?" Chunti asked politely.

"Sure!" Ippi said as she hummed a beautiful melody, while placing the fresh pastries in a brown paper bag. "4 Melonpan, 2 Minchohoppang and 3 Red-Bean Dorayaki inside! The total is 𝜙210!"

Chunti gave her cash and checked in, taking the 2 brown paper bags filled with pastries and giving it to Cirau. "By the way Ippi, do you have any dairy?" Chunti asked before she went ahead.

"Milk? Yes we do! How many?" "Give me 4" "Got it!" Ippi took another paper bag which was smaller and placed 4 milk boxes in it, and then gave it to Chunti.

Chunti gave her cash (𝜙40) and walked away. "See you again Chunti!" Ippi said with a cheerful smile as she waved goodbye to her. Chunti gave a smile back and waved her hand as she left.

..." Are you close friends?" Cirau asked. "No, I just met her when I saw this bakery yesterday." Chunti replied back and went inside the car, following Cirau.

[12:03 pm]

The four of them already arrived at school a few hours ago and had their so-called 'breakfast'. Now that they just finished their lunch, they are now headed to a certain someone.

"Ah, I'm full~! Now back to work, where is this senior of yours Miss Chunti?" Xinyao said as he was relieved after eating lunch,

"My senior is just ahead in the school gardens as he normally goes there, on a daily basis. And also, please minimize calling me such fancy names when we're here at a public place. You never know what happens after all.."

"Chunti"

"Chissy~!"

       (..... If you knew how Chunti felt right now, I bet a brick would be useful for thro-)

"Nemi, you here?" Chunti shouted looking around the school gardens. "Chunti! Chunti! " Nemi said as he ran towards her, being all cheerful as he usually is.

"Chunti! How are you-?" Nemi cutted off his words when he saw the three of them.

"Hello~! You must be Chissy's Senior, I suppose..?

Greetings! This is the author speaking, and I just wanted to say thank you if you managed to stay and read the first chapter! I will update this story now and then, most-likely to be Monday-Thursday. I'll try my best to update this, so I hope you'll support me!

I almost debunked this chapter as I was losing so many ideas. Well I definitely have a lot of them, but making it smooth and easy to understand isn't just like me.
