"Bad News!" "Bad News!"

A middle age clad walk into the palace hall in hurry. His faces look so anxious. His walk unsteady. His pace is too fast until he ended up stumble himself.

"What's the bad news?!" Wang Yezra, the daughter of the Wang's family ask in a cold tone.

"Young princess!" He bow politely.

"I'm sorry for my bad attitude, but the kingdom is on uproar. A huge wave of demon barged themselves into our city gates. Lots of our people are injured. Some even died. Please tell us some strategies." The man put his palm together. Begging so desperately.

Wang Yezra stunned herself. She bites her lips slightly.

"No! It's impossible. No one can break our spell barriers that easy. This is absurd." Wang Yezra replies. Her hand shaking so badly.

"Young Princess, please help us relay this to our Young Lord immediately. We need an immediate response in order to preserve our city." He kneeling desperately.

"I'm already here, there's no need for her to come for me." A young man walk in so elegantly. His steady pace along with his cold face bring a really high aura.

"Young lord!!! This lowly old clad is begging for your help. Our general is still battling his life with all those stinks creatures. We can't lose him!" His heart is pounding so hard. This is his first time seeing Wang Yizhan himself.

"Ask them to retreat first, create a temporary barrier. I'll be there by myself." He look at the old man who still covered in dust and dry blood pitifully.

"Clean yourself and come with me. Yezra, send troop of medical attendant to the city gates now."

The Gate of Yuan City

"F*ck!!! They're still swarming us. They'll be no end in this." General Lan Wuji has been fighting with those creatures for almost 1 day streaks. He already lose a lot of blood and energy.

"General Lan! We can't keep fighting. Let's retreat first." Wu Tang can just barely lift his sword.

"No way! The city is our priority! The citizens count of us." General Lan Wuji said as he keep on stab the demon.

As they about to fall...

"Trriungg! Trriungg!"

"It's young lord quqin! We're save!!" All the cultivator scream happily.

"Form a barrier quick!!!" Ask Wang Yizhan to the the general as he arrives at the front line in a spilt of seconds.

He continues to attack the creatures with his quqin. Every strok leaves a really harmful blow. All the bodies dissipate in just a second.

All the demons start to fall. They began to retreat as they lose a lot of their man. Wang Yizhan smirk.

"Weakk!!" He stop attacking as he sees all the demons scram away.

"We win!!!!" All the cultivator shouting vigorously!! A day of war is finally end.

The chaos is now reduce. All the injured cultivator is treated. A huge loss indeed. This unexpected war kill almost 30 cultivator. There's also some citizens who suffers great injury.

The Wang's Mansions

"Congrats Young Lord for winning this war!" Wang Yezra smile happily. She is the daughter of the best cultivator family, but unfortunately, she not a cultivator.

"Don't be to joyful. I'm afraid there's another motives." Wang Yizhan sit on his study table. His hand reach a random book on it.

"Why is that? They obviously just trying to make their own way into our city." Wang Yezra pouted.

"You won't understand. You not even a cultivator. I will talk to uncle about this."

He walk away in peace. But deep in his mind, he afraid that's there will be more of this. He bite his lip.

"Uncle, can I have some words with you?" Wang Yizhan steps into his uncle chamber.

"Go ahead." Wang Yiqiu still focusing on his book. Others than practicing his sword art skills, he will read his books.

"Today, a huge wave of creatures attack our city. Most of them is demon and monsters. They successfully breaking our city barrier."

"But, none of them enter the city after breaking it. I'm afraid that they have some hidden agenda in this. It's like they doing it purposely to stall some times." Wang Yizhan look at his uncle ahead.

"It's indeed strange. Thus, they deliberately attack when you're here. It's not like they want to commit suicide either." Wang Yiqiu close his book.

Wang Yizhan nodded.

"Then allow me to investigate this." Wang Yizhan offer himself.

"Okay. I'll leave this to you then." Wang Yiqiu agree immediately.

Wang Family may be the greatest cultivation family. But in time, they gradually lose their power. Most of the Wang's successor are already ages. Wang Yitian which is Wang Yizhan father already decline from the cultivation world. He secluded himself and want to lives his remaining days as an ordinary people. His wife, Qin Sangyu from a prominent sect also accompany him. In the old days, this couple is most likely undefeatable. They enjoy wandering the world so much and eliminate vicious along the way.

Wang Yiqiu, younger brother of Wang Yitian is now replacing his brother. He is a firm and strict person. He also came up with 1000 rules to the sect. The last one is Wang Yifan. He is the last siblings. He also a great cultivator but have a hot temper. He just 20 years older than Wang Yizhan. Until now, he still wander the world as he likes. He began to paves his own way when Wang Yiqiu replace his older brother. Since he doesn't want to be restricted by the rules. Laters, he send a news saying that he already married with a cultivator. Wang Yezra is his daughter. She's only 14 years old now.

So, that's to be said. The only one this family rely on is Wang Yizhan. He is now only 22 years old but already have a great responsibility. He managed to master all cultivation skill at 10 years old and now his cultivation is almost at the peak. All the disciples respect him a lot, but his cold and serious faces makes them kinda scared to approach him.

I'm also sorry for my grammar error, as my main language is not English.. but I will keep learning them..

This story is actually inspired by The Untamed and also Demon Slayer.. There's gonna be more character in the next chapter, but I will try my best to introduce them 1 by 1 to avoid any confusion.

Also, the main character here is Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan.. But I change the name as I don't want it to looks like a fanfic.. hehe..
