My Maternal House

So it was during October or you can say during the time of Autumn in India. My family was going to my maternal house by train. I was very excited as it was one of my favourite place to visit. We reached there at 9pm. I noticed my grandparents have grown a little older.

Now let me describe my Maternal House a little. It is in a small village named Jamalpur, in West Bengal. The house is near the train station. We can see train passing by from my maternal house. It's a two storey building. The best part of my maternal house is, that it has two gardens - one in the front and is a flower garden, and the other one in the backyard where many trees grow. The house is very old so the bathrooms are in the backyard(though its a modern bathroom now). There are many trees and its the best part of my maternal house.

My Grandfather loves animals especially cats, and the neighborhood is full of cats and kittens.He feeds them everyday. Everytime we are eating lunch or dinner, the cats and kittens are gonna gather together for food. Well I am a cat lover too. Here is a picture of them

So the next day I woke up early as I didn't want to miss a tiny bit of time there. I got ready and had my breakfast. Then I noticed some cats roaming around the garden. I asked my grandmother to give a bowl full of milk. Then I gave it to them for drinking, and surprisingly the milk was finished within 1 minute by two cats. The two cats were fighting among themselves for who would drink the milk. They were making funny noises. I sat aside and laughed at them.

Then that day I went to see the friends and neighbors of my grandmother with my mother. Each and every neighbors and friends of hers gave us sweets to eat and I was like "Its last day of my life, I will die very soon or maybe burst into pieces." as i was too full to eat anything else. But who would listen to me, they gave us at least three sweets to eat. And then their's a neighbor whose house is full of cats and kittens. Some fat, some thin, some tiny while some of them where scaredy cats. There were at least 15 of them. We all call it the Cat house. We had to carefully step into that house as there can be a lazy cat sitting and it is too lazy to walk away. Each of them even had names. The auntie of that house asked me to pet them, but I am not so brave to pet the adult cats so i petted the kitties.They were very fluffy and also cute. Well this is how our first day there went like. We're too full with sweets, and I didn't have my dinner that night.
