"A friend is all, I am" (Issac's POV)

"Hey Andre! Good to see you're not a zombie anymore" Ryan exclaimed gleefully as he quickly hid something at his back, hoping Andre didn't see it.

"Well..yesterday I got some closure. Why are you holding chocolates?" Andre asked as he tilted his head looking behind Ryan's back.

"uhh- I got them to give Janice..." Ryan said in a shy tone as his cheeks turned rosey pink.He had no other choice other than to confess the truth..

"YOU LIKE JANICE?!" Andre cried in excitement.

Ryan covered Andre's mouth with both of his hands and whispered in a harsh manner" Why on earth, would you say that?!"

"You're not denying it." Andre muffled, while smirking under Ryan's hand.

But just as Ryan was about to answer, Janice and Alexandra walked towards them.

"hihi guys!! Sorry for yesterday, Janice just had a bad day." Alexandra apologised.

"Hey Ryan, sorry about yesterday. I just wasn't feeling quite good." Janice apologised, feeling a tiny bit embarrassed of how she acted so dramatic the previous day.

"Ah, no worries! I guess it was around the time of the month, huh!" Ryan chuckled, looking back behind his back, where the chocolates were.

"Hey! This is why I'm always so angry with you--" Out of nowhere, Janice was stopped in her word when Ryan handed the chocolates he got for Janice to her. "Here, I'm sorry for being annoying sometimes.. I guess I should tone down my jokes haha.." Ryan tried giving a little laugh to reduce the awkwardness. Janice couldn't help but started smiling like a fool and thanked him with the most prettiest smile ever seen by Ryan. After that, it was completely slient.

"I wasn't able to ask ya'll but next week is the day when Joshua and Issac is going to the cafe, they are going on a date!" Ryan told, breaking the ice.

****That completely slipped out of my mind!(Andre's POV****)

Issac and Joshua walked to school together and spotted Ryan, Janice, Alexandra and Andre. Issac wanted to say hi.

"Hello everyone!" Issac said while standing next to Joshua.

he's always with Issac, does he have anything else better to go to? Is he a loner or something?(Andre's POV)

"Hey Issac!" Andre said then slowly reached for his shoulder and put his right arm around him. Issac's ears turned bright red and felt his heart was happily jumping up and out. Andre gave a satisfied smirk to Joshua.

Unexpectedly, Joshua pulled Issac away from Andre and held Issac's hand tightly, not letting him ago. Ryan quickly realised the situation and said that he and Andre was just about to head to class. Ryan dragged Andre away but before he did that Andre glared at Joshua one last time and left.

WITH ANDRE AND RYAN..

"What's up with you, Andre?"

"nothing." Issac said fuming with anger still.

"No, it's not just nothing. You know, Joshua likes him right? Unless..you like Issac too?!"

"WHAT-"

"Exactly, so why are you acting like that?"

"I just don't know..." Yeah, why am I even like this? Why am I jealous? I should be happy for Issac...

Maybe it's better for me just to focus on something else right now (Andre's POV)

"Why don't you join me to karaoke after school today? Ryan suggested.

"Yeah sure, why not." Andre replied.

NEXT WEEK AFTER SCHOOL**

Issac and Joshua headed to the cafe to hang out (not a date) whereas Andre and Ryan walked to the karaoke nearby school.

Upon reaching the karaoke, Andre saw there was three girls waiting outside the karaoke place. Ryan waved to them.

"You didn't tell me there were going to be girls." Andre whispered while he nudged his leftelbow to Ryan's right arm

"Did I? My bad..Anyways this is Kayla, Giselle and lastly August." Ryan introduced to Andre.

" hi, nice fo meet you. I'm Andre." Andre said while giving a slight grin.

One of the girls, Kayla reached out for a handshake and Andre shaked hands back and smiled awkwardly. They all head inside for karaoke...

Afterwards they all headed out to go home, Andre was left with the girl Kayla to bring her home since she was drunk. Andre held her shoulder to keep her up and called for a taxi to take her to her place.

She kept falling down so Andre had to hold her up close. Suddenly, she vomited and almost kissed Andre but missed by a few centimeters. Andre gave a huge relief sigh and saw the taxi was near and headed in.

MEANWHILE WITH ISSAC AND JOSHUA..:)

"Here we are, this is the cafe I was talking about." Joshua said. They were both standing right outside the cafe.

"Woahh, this looks nice!" Issac said while eyeing the pastries out for display. They both headed inside and took a sit near the glass window. Issac got a strawberry cupcake with whipped cream on top and rainbow sprinkles to top it all off, Joshua on the other hand got an ice coffee latte.

"Ugh..my mind's a mess Josh. Andre keeps giving me false hope.."

"Aw c'mon, cheer up!! Remember, we're here to relax? Not stress on crushes" Joshua said.

"Thanks..I'm so glad to be able to tell you this. I've been keeping this a secret for so long."

"hahaha, what would you do without me? Plus it's pretty obvious you like Andree~" Joshua teased.

"s-sh*t up!" Issac said. His ears turned red as cherries, avoiding eye contact.

"See! It's pretty obvious, looking at that kind of face you make." Joshua laughed.

"Hello! Here's your order!" A waitress said while putting the tray of their order on their table.

"Thank you" Joshua said while smiling at her while she left.

"Soo, how's your girlfriend doing?" Issac asked.

"Changing topics, I see? Just kidding, my girlfriend and I are actually doing well. Thanks for asking." Joshua replied.

"Geez, you're a lucky one. She seems like a wonderful person." Issac said.

"Don't worry, I'll help you out with your love life too." Joshua offered.

"No..it's alright..Andre is straight. I can't change that, plus it's been 9 years. Nothing has changed, whatsoever..I'll always just be a childhood friendto him." Issac replied. He suddenly looked as if he was holding back tears. Joshua felt so bad and reached for a warm hug to Issac.

Issac just laughed it off and played it off cool and asked " What's up with you earlier pulling me away from Andre?"

"Seriously, I wanted to see what he would do of course! I mean you know, I'm all in for the drama" Joshua said with a witty voice.

Afterwards they both decided to head home and separate ways, "Bye Andre! See you tomorrow at school!" "See you!"

Issac walked down the cement pathway till he noticed Andre with an unfamiliar girl. Andre was awfully close to her then suddenly, out of nowhere, gave a kiss to Andre afterwards Issac saw the taxi where Andre and the girl headed in...

It was just like a slap on Issac's face and a million thoughts went through his head. Does Andre like her? Are they dating? Why'd she kiss him? Here was a lump in his throat, he bit his lower lip then eventually tears flowed down his face continuously, he gripped his shirt and fell onto his knees and started sobbing. Nothing on earth could be worse than what he was feeling in that exact moment. I feel like my heart's getting ripped out.. He just watched as the taxi drove away and cried for hours. Multiple passersby saw Issac there sobbing, they all stared, but Issac didn't care, all he did was just replayin the scene of the girl kissing Andre in his head.

"A friend is all, I am.." Issac said with his cracked hoarse voice from all the crying.

Issac picked himself up while wiping all the tears he shied and walked back home..

I am going to get over Andre no matter how it takes..

That night, Issac researched on how to stop having feelings for someone and wrote down a whole list to he'd do the next day, throughout the whole night.
