Episode 3: The City

Perseus frown once he got the news about the culprit who tried to kill him before.

"So you have found no clues there? Even after you search for three months, you still found nothing?"Perseus turn his face towards the man who wearing a black toga that still kneel down in front of him.

"I'm sorry my prince. I had asked all my man to find any traces that may be left by the culprits but unfortunately the culprits seem to be..."

"A very trained assassins,I know. They must've done this before, a lot."

Perseus wince in pain once he tried to sit on the dining chair. The man who wearing the black toga try to help him but Perseus hold up his hand.

"Hmm... I guess i have to go to that place again. "Said Perseus to himself,but the man in front of him still able to hear what Perseus had said.

"My prince, I don't think that it's a good idea for you to go to the Mount Tam now. You're still..."

Perseus glared the man and the man immediately close his mouth. Since he met the prince this morning, he had sense a murderous aura from the prince. The aura had been suppressed,of course but for a trained assassin like him, he can still felt the murderous aura from the prince.

"I want you to take three of your most trusted men and brought them to the arena. We will be going to mount Tam tomorrow morning."

said Perseus.

The man in front of Perseus nodded his head but right before he could walk away from the chamber,Perseus call his name again.

"And Argus, I do hope you will not tell about our destination to anyone even to your men. I have a feeling that there might be mole in our royal assassins. Watch your men and find out what they do when they I was coma before. "

"Yes,my prince. But what about our royal guard?Do I have to watch them too?"

"For now, let them enjoy their life. I hope you won't dissapointed me,Argus."Perseus keep his voice down and full with threats.

"I won't dare to my prince."

Perseus nodded his head before he turn his face towards the window. Argus sighed slowly. He didn't even realize he had hold his breath when the prince call him back. After he walk out from the chamber, he can felt his body become more relaxed.

'His aura is too strong. Even more stronger than before. ' Argus whispering to himself.

He can't even imagine what will be if the prince lost his cool.

Perseus pack all his things that he might need for his journey to the Mount Tam. After he had done pack his stuff, he walk out from his room. Last night, he had told the king about his intention to go the Mount Tam again. Even though the king seem to be hesitate at first, eventually he agreed. With the king's permission, today he gonna journey to the Mount Tam.

As soon as he arrived at the arena, four men in a black cloak knelt down. He then asked all of them to rise again. Perseus still wasn't comfortable to be treated as a crown prince. In his past life as Jake, he always tried to be away from the civilization.

People avoided him only because the government put him in the most wanted criminal's list. Yes he kill people but only because he want to protect the others who had been treated like an animal. He's never has the intention to hurt the civilians.

But now he has the chance, a chance to change the world. He may not be able to change the whole world but he can start in this country. He want to make help the people in the Eastern, just like what the real Perseus want.

"After we depart from this palace, i want all of you to call me young master. I don't want to attract any attention."

"But my pr... "

Argus immediately shut his mouth when Perseus glared at him.

"We better leave now. The journey to the Mount Tam gonna take a lot of time. "

After that, all of them depart from the palace main arena toward the west of the Eastern empire.

The west of the Eastern empire is the most dangerous place in Eastern. That place is a wild place where only a few people inhabit that west part. The reason why people didn't dare to live there despite the fertile soil is because that place are full with vicious animals and beast.

After been two hours sitting at the back of the horse, Perseus groaned in pain as his injuries have not yet fully healed. Argus glanced at Perseus with a concern look painted on his face.

"Young master, I think we should take a rest first and you should take your medicine first before we could continue our journey. We could set a temporary camp here. "Said Argus as he turn his face at Perseus.

"Hmm...no need for the temporary camp. If I'm not mistaken in a few miles to the west, there will be a small city call Delta. We're just gonna take a rest there for today."Said Perseus.

Argus nodded his head before he lead the way to the west. After half an hour, they finally reached the city. For a small city, Delta is quite popular for it's best herbs and wine. Even merchants from a big city come to Delta to buy some herbs and wine.

As soon as Perseus and his men pass the city's gateway, people stared at them, wondering about them.

"Young master, I don't want to be rude but I think we better rent some carriage for you. I was worried about you, ypung master. "said Argus.

Perseus sighed before he nodded his head.

"Fine. Ask your men to find any store that rent a carriage. I want to find a place for us to sleep tonight."

After Perseus had changed into his light blue chiton, he walk out from his room and heading to one of the most famous restaurant in Delta. He didn't even bother to tell Argus where he heading to as he just want to be alone for a moment.

When he enter the restaurant, he saw a petite young man with a leash on his neck got kicked by a more muscular man. The young man winces in pain before he hugged his small body to shield his stomach from the kicked.

Unconsciously,Perseus clenched his fist tightly as he walk towards the commotion. The muscular man and a few of his followers laughing while clutching their stomach.

"Stop it! "Said Perseus.

His voice is dangerously low but still can be heard by them. His face show nothing but fierceness and his eyes look so vicious. Everyone had stopped laughing and instead they suddenly feel like their breath had been taken away.

The muscular man looks a bit scared but swallow back his fear before he cleared his throat.

"Who are you?! Don't you know who am I? "Asked the man with a rude manner.

Perseus snickered.

"I don't care about who you are. You don't even deserve my attention."Said Perseus.

The muscular man clench his fist.

"How dare you!"

The muscular man launch a punch towards Perseus but Perseus dodge the punch without any difficulties. Perseus then throw his punch towards the muscular man's stomach. The man hunched over while clutching his stomach.

"Go away or you will get even more worse than this. "Perseus release a bit of his murderous aura.

The muscular man and his followers shuddered. They hurriedly heading out of the restaurant, don't even bother to to take the petite young man that lay on the floor,hugging his body tightly.

Perseus sigh. He kneel down before he slowly touch the young man's shoulder.
