Female Lead:

Job: unemployed but volunteers at different charities
Hair Colour: Brown
Personality: social, blunt, direct, fair but just, seductive to those who she likes (e.g. Vincent), snaps at those who she dislikes

Male Lead:
Name: Vincent Ashwood
Age: 20
Job: up-and-rising CEO of Ashwood Enterprises
Hair Colour: Black (just ignore the brownish tint)
Personality(normally): cold, sour, heartless, business-oriented,...
Personality(around Leah): cold, sour, heartless (but doesn't mean any of it)(actually a doting husband)
Random Fact: his smouldering glare can freeze someone to death. Someone tested if his glare actually lowered temperature and it went down by 8 degrees (disclaimer: could have also been the faulty AC)
My stepmother always used to tell me to keep my head up high, no matter who I was against.
"Never bow your head to anyone. Not even to your father and especially not to your friends."
You might think that she had some ulterior motive hidden in there, but you're wrong.
Unlike a fairytale stepmother's who would wickedly tricked their step-daughters to eat toads, my stepmother was everything to me.
My biological mother died when I was very young, and my stepmother filled the hole that I was missing in my family.
However, another hole was created at that moment. My Father became estranged to me, sending me money every week and occasionally dining at home with us.
So my stepmother raised me practically on my own, and let's just say that I was somewhat of a strange child.
I was able to keep up with the conversations that my Father and his business partners were having with ease, occasionally putting in some criticism or an opinion from time to time.
When I got praised in public, my Father showed his love by sending me a little extra in my allowance that week.
And that was it. We were practically strangers to each other.
But my happiness with my stepmother didn't last either.
She died in a car accident just two months ago, a tragedy that shocked even me.
It could have happened to anyone. It could have happened to me, it could have happened to a rich businessman or a normal salary man.
But no, it happened to her.
The funeral was mediocre and my Father only made a brief appearance before leaving for his work once again.
She might not have given birth to me... but she was still the closest thing that I had to a biological mother.

Rest in peace... Mother...
