Chapter 5

Today is the day for the charity event and the emperor is participating. right now, i feel very nervous and i don't know why. i just had this feeling.

" lady hesia, the gifts are ready and.. lady hesia? " i snapped back from reality when the staff wave he hands.

" are you okay? shall i assist you to the lobby? " a man asked. i just smiled and shake my head.

" no, i'm fine. c'mon let's arrange and packed the stuffs first and then we will head out in the venue " i said and move.

everyone is busy packing the good stuffs for later. the Empress Dowager help me too and even add something so that i won't get any short gifts to give for others.

as soon as the packing is done it was arrange by meng meng and shan in the truck and almost done.

" did we forget something? we check it first " i said and everyone was shaking their heads.

" then let's go to the big gym everyone is waiting for us. we shall not let them wait. let's get going " i said and so everyone i hired is getting on their assigned cars.

the emperor will come by later. so we shall head out first.

we arrived in the big gym located in the old capital before. everyone is already signing a form and this is good so that i can only call them using the forms.

whatever their reasons is, i should give them fairly. i hosted this event and no one can stop me even my father.

the empress dowager gave me the permission to do so.

people who i hired placed the long and big table and then arrange the goods in the table in front of them. many people is sitting already in their own respective chairs.

someone is being my emcee and so he already started the event without any minutes.

" Good morning everyone! we are here to attend the charity's event today and as you can see, all of you will be given a goods given and sponsored by our only angel who do this every 6 months no other than!!! Ms. Lady Jian Hesia, arouns of applause please " the emcee said and they all clapping.

signing forms is still not finish and many people lined up for filling up the forms. but they gave a minute to clap. it was so heart melting.

i was just standing in the corner watching my people doing their jobs.

the 5 trucks is full of loaded. the emperor and the empress dowager is giving me a hand and that they added 3 loaded trucks. full of goods.

the first truck came here and the others will come by later after i call them.

the truck has half of goods inside and it was parked outside besides the gym.

" Ms. Lady Jian Hesia, would like to give a speech for everyone? " the emcee asked that made me shocked.

" a-ah... fine.. " i said. i had no choice because the eyes of everyone is waiting for me to say something.

i walked and climb the stairs to go on the stage. as i get on the stage the emcee is handed the mic.

" ahem... Everyone good morning, thank you for attending this event and today i am so grateful that many people participated in this event. i hope that this could help you out weight your burdends. i am so grateful too because i help the people who are in needs. and thus i also like to thank the imperial family who helped me hosting this event. i hope that we help you in your own crisis and i'm always ready to help that's all thank you " i said and then walk out of stage.

" and now let's give her around of applause please " the emcee said.

i am so nervous on stage and even i can't stand straight.

* honk honk *

i watched the outside and saw the imperial guards and the cheif guard.

i guess the emperor is here...

" HERE COMES THE EMPEROR!!!!!!! " the eunuch's voice filled the entire gymnasium.

everyone is at their feet standing and their heads are bowed.

" long live your majesty, long live the emperor " they said. so i walked towards him and showed my courtesy.

" greeting your majesty, Lady hesia is here to show my courtesy " i said and then bowed.

" at ease. how was the event? " he asked me. this is the first time i heard him talking to me. i feel nervous.

the people is now standing and no longer bowed. the people i hired continued their worked.

" everything goes well. i-i it just that the signing form is still not finish " i said in stammering.

" uhm.. is there anything you need your majesty? " i asked.

' gosh!!! '

" okay, get back to work. as for you stay by my side " he said. my ghad!!!

meng meng and shan are still busy! i have no one to talk to.

" if you feel uncomfortable you can tell me. eunuch Qi get me a chair " he ordered.

" right away, your majesty " eunuch Qi said and hurriedly left.

" tell me, is the 5 trucks enough? who will call the names of these people? " he asked. my heart beat so fast!! his voice is kinda scary, scary than my father.

" t-the five trucks is enough a-and i-i'll be the one who will be calling them to receive the goods " said me stammering.

i am so very very nervous!!! i can't think well.

" okay, if that's the case let someone handle it. i may call you when i need something " he said. i almost can't hear him because of my heary beat and my nerves are shaking my mind can't think straight! my head is spinning. i feel dizzy and i'm sweating so much like there is no tomorrow.

" are you okay? " his majesty asked i just nodded and wipe my sweat.

i really don't feel comfortable beside him.

the eunuch arrived with two seats. maybe he would put his feet on the chair.

" here are your chair your majesty, please sit down " he said and put the chair on back of the majesty.

" here are yours too lady hesia " said the eunuch. i was startled when he put it.

" n-no i-i i'm fine... " i said.

" sit down lady hesia " his majesty said so i slowly sit down and swallowed my own saliva. gosh!! i- i am so nervous!

" it's my honor, y-your majesty " i said my thanks and keep my mouth shut.

if this goes on, i will get fainted.

" lady hesia, are you okay? " the eunuch asked. i just nodded.

" i - i'm fine " i said and then the feeling of getting dizzy is still lingering.

" but you look pale and... " i almost can't hear him and my eyes are almost filled with black. am i... going to die?
