Chapter 4

i woke up with the feeling of deja vu. i can't clearly see the man's face but i can i assure that someone was in my bedroom last night.

did i just have a nightmare? this is odd.

" my lady, are you okay? " shan came into my room to prepare a set of working suits.

" yeah, i just had the odd feeling that someone was here last night. is it my illusion? hm.. strange " i said without looking at shan.

" odd feeling? someone was here? i don't think no one came here last night, my lady " shan replied.

shan didn't know it too? she didn't even notice it.

" hmm.. maybe i'm just hallucinating. anyway, tell meng meng to prepare a meal for us three. i want you to join me eating " i said and then stood up from the bedside.

" okay, my lady " she said and the leave.

i tidy my bed first before walking out of the bedside. i went to the bathroom to do my morning routines.

after doing my morning routines. i went to the living room to eat, the dishes are now serve and still hot.

i walk towards to the big table and then called meng meng and shan.

" let's eat " i said.

the thought of having the odd feeling is still lingering me. i can't sway it away this feeling.

" is there something wrong with the food, my lady? should i get another dishes? " mengmeng asked. i look at her.

" no, the food is fine but, did you notice something last night? i mean, is there anyone sneak into my room? " i asked.

" no, my lady " mengmeng said.

" oh i see, it's fine you don't have to be bothered. continue to eat " i said and then continue to eat my food.

" uhmm.. my lady, the imperial doctor who check on you last time was here earlier saying that you didn't get your medicine " said meng meng.

i stop.

" what? i forgot to get it " i said to them.

" it's fine my lady, the imperial doctor came here to deliver tge medicine. he said that you should intake this medicine three times a day and i already prepare you your medicine, my lady " said shan. i just nodded at her and smiled. i continued to eat.

after we finish eating, i went to the couch and get my bag. i bid my goodbye to them and went to the imperial library as i cannot go to work outside.

as i reached the library, i imediately get the things out of the bag and then place it on my table.

i started to work.

many files have been placed ony table and most them is difficult. they just asked me to do their jobs when in fact it's not my job to do so. but i'm always ready to help others when they are in times of needs.

huff... a bunch of papers makes me tired more.

i rested a bit and here comes another one. an employee who were from the auditing team asked me to do her favor that the files Ms. Lin gave her has to be submmited later before four o'clock.

i just smiled and received it. i don't have a choice. i have to helped them to finish their work. and one more thing, i love helping too.

As i'm busy encoding their files at my laptop an assistant of the emperor came to me and gave me a lunch box. i was confused.

" uhm.. may i know why did you put it here? did you get mistaken for putting down the lunch box here? " i asked in my natural tone.

" its a thing that needs to be delivered to you, someone asked us to deliver this you "

" but mr. he, this... may i know who gave this lunch box? is the emperor gave me this lunch box? " i asked.

" i'm sorry my lady but the person who gave it to you won't allow us to tell you. its a confidential " he said and leave imediately. i was about to asked but he got away. i thought the emperor is the one who ordered him.

now i'm more and more confused on what's happening.

maybe, he is the person who went to my room last night? this feeling is getting more and more stronger.

i looked at the lunch box and and opened the cloth that has been wrapped around. i untie it and saw a beautiful lunch box. i can say its an expensive thing and can't afford to have damages. this beautiful lunch box has a design of a cherry blossom flowers and a tree of sakura with an woman carved on it. a woman in an ancient dress

while looking at the design, i noticed that the woman has a same figure as me, an ash color down in the curly hair. a bangs and a beautiful braded style hair. a long eyelashes, a long pointy nose, white soft skin and... hey! i think this is me.

and the cherry blossom flowers and a tree of sakura is my favorite! could it be.... it was customized for me?

i checked the lunch box and the cloth that use to tie this lunch box. i saw a letter folded into tree.

the letter says that,

' *eat this as it represents my love for you, 4th Lady Jian Hesia. i have admired you for a long time, i've loved you too since we were kids. you're the only person who accept me with all your heart despite of my personality and you're the one who accompany me in my worst moments before. you've helped me a lot. We will goimg to meet soon. sorry for visiting you last night and for disturbing your beautiful sleep. i just want to see your angelic face that i have been longing for. don't mind and let yourself bother for knowing who i am.

eat this lunch, i made it myself.

after reading the letter my heart beat is getting fast. i felt happy. so he is just around the palace.

but i'm afraid that i cannot accept his love because i'm not ready yet.

i should not bother myself for that thing. and the most important is he let me know too. i appreciate it.

i'm here at the empress dowager's chamber or should i say my mother. she has something to discuss to me and i saw concubine shen beside her.

" y-your majesty, please spare me!! i'm really sorry! your grace save me! " that's the last words i hearf from her.

" you shouldn't be so ruthless, xin. that's not a good thing. you are being ruthless like your father " Queen mother said.

" mother, she deserve it. And anyone dares to speak ill on her, i will not spare anyone " i said in a serious tone.

" you really inherit your father's trait. please stop your crazy actions and stop your obsession in her. control your heart " she said. but i don't give a damn about it.

" i don't care, because she's the one who will be mine " i said and left my mother.

anyone dares to hurt her will receive a serious punishment they deserve and i won't spare anyone who were plotting against her.
