Two weeks later, after Lily's parent's death.

Lily inside her room is applying lipstick. with all the maids with all the employees gathered in her room.

" do you know what today is?" Lily asked.

" your birthday?" The gardener said.

" That was months ago Dave," Lily said.

" my new song is being released today, and there is a release party I planned

In Las Vegas, so I and Susan would be gone for the weekend, but why I called you here you may ask. I don't know what goes on in this house when I leave, but I have seen in a lot of movies as soon as the boss leaves the workers throw a party." Lily said as she brings an envelope out of her bag. " this is 300,000 dollars, have fun but don't destroy the house or else you all are paying. And Mary-Ann you are in charge."

In the car on their way to the airport.

" James, Brina, Alyssa, Susan, Peter, and Robert but I have one more in invitation left. I know who to give it to. Mark would you stop by the police station please." Lily said

Lily walked into the police station

" Hey Gina, I know you are working hard on my parent's case, but you know would you like to come to my party in Las Vegas."

" sorry lily, criminals don't take the days off and I also have your parent's case to work on," Gina said

" that's okay," Lily said and left

On the plane to Las Vegas with Brina, Alyssa, James, Susan, and lily gave the last invitation to Mike.

" Lily if I remember correctly, you didn't book a hotel for us," Susan said

" I know because we are staying at my grandparent's house. You forgot they lived in Las Vegas." Lily said

They Finally landed after a few hours, they were at the airport.

" babe what are we waiting for," James asked

" my grandparent's driver. They should be here any minute now."

The driver pulled up, they all entered the car one by one

" oh my God, this house is huge," Brina said

"My pumpkin pie lily I miss you so much and you too Susan, I still remember when you two used to play as kids. I know you must be tired so I ordered pizza your favorite, pineapple pizza."

James and Mike stared in shock

" what?" James said,

" Okay, that is just wrong," Mike said

" and who are these young men?" Lily's grandma asks.

" grandma Lisa, this is my boyfriend James and his brother Mike my music producer, and my manager was supposed to be here but they booked," Lily said

" and what problem do these two have with my pizza." Grandma Lisa said

"They are Italians and they just don't like that idea of pizza and pineapple," Lily said.

" well if they don't like it they should leave, it is not like I invited them."

Brina was doing Lily's hair,

" What style would you like it to be."

" um I was thinking half up half down space bun but I have to dye my hair dark blue first."

Grandma Lisa walks into Lily's room asking. " so how are your parents."

" ok grandma, don't joke with that, I can't still believe you took the news so well," Lily said

" What news?"

"Agnes didn't tell you."

" who is Agnes and what news."

" grandma Lisa, mom and dad are dead."

Grandma Lisa looked in disbelief and then after a while started screaming and wailing, Lily's grandpa came in

" what is going on here?"

Lily told him what happened and he too joined in screaming and wailing.

" who is going to comfort who?"

Lily tried to calm them down as she almost broke down in tears.

" I can't do this no, Brina come on let's join the boys downstairs." lily said as she wiped tears off her eye.

Brina started dying Lily's hair blue.

" I am done all that is left to do is wash it."

Lily then followed Gina to the bathroom to wash her hair.

Susan came in with the blow dryer

" But what did grandma Lisa mean by who is Agnes." Susan asked

" maybe it is old age and she forgot who Agnes was because Agnes said that she was kidnapped when she was a baby." lily said,

" ouch Brina you're pulling my hair too hard." Lily said

"Sorry, I just have to do the buns right."

Grandma Lisa and grandpa John finally came downstairs.

" my son is gone, I have to bury my child and nobody told me." Grandma Lisa said

" Agnes told you," Lily said

" who is Agnes... wait I remember Agnes" she turns to grandpa John. " that girl William was telling me about, remember when he asked if he had a sister called Agnes and we told him no, that after we adopted him we did not adopt again."

" Susan hand me my phone please."

Lily Called Gina. " I have a new lead, Agnes isn't part of the family, she is done kind of scammer look her up in your... on. Whatever you use." Gina went to the nearest computer

" What is her full name."

"Agnes Nosam."

"There is nobody like that here."

Lily then remembers when Agnes was introducing herself for the first time.

" ouch, Brina stop dragging my hair."

" Sorry I had to do it from the back," Brina said

Lily thought for a while.

" of course from the back brina, you are a genius, Gina, try to enter Rebecca mason."

" it showed up, it says she is wanted in most states, for fraud by trying to make herself a long lost relative."

" I will go arrest her now for fraud, and then question her about your parent's death."

After a few hours, Lily walked up to the mirror

" wow it's beautiful, I love it."

Brina opens a suitcase and brought out a dress and everybody turned and looked at lily

" what it's cute."

" Woah lily that is too short," James says

" That dress is shorter than my vacation." Susan Said.

Lily puts on the dress.

" see it's fine and I also got a jacket."

Lily puts on the jacket.

" lily that jacket doesn't even reach your belly."

" so? Now get dressed we are soon about to leave."

Lily went on Instagram live showcasing her hair and outfit and talking about how she is so excited for the opportunity, then Ariana grande joined the live saying "bitch get over here."

A few hours they arrived at the party.

" oh my God, you look so good."

" Thanks, Dua lipa," Lily says

Yeah, I don't know how a song release party works, if you do, feel free to imagine it but now I am going to skip.

Lily's back at her grandparent's house, undoing the space bun hairstyle and singing to herself.

When she got a call from Mary-Ann.

" what's up Mary-Ann," Lily said

" well something crazy just happened, remember you asked the bank to trace the transaction. Well just right now the bank called, someone returned the entire money that was stolen. Crazy right."

" weird, I will call you later Tomorrow"

Lily hung up the phone

Her manager Robert texted saying they should meet at the nearest cafe

At the cafe 11:pm

Lily sat at a table with Robert and peter.

" so this is like a team meeting," Lily said

" now that we are all here, there is something I want to address and it is that we need more than one person in the studio. cause I can't record music alone; we were lucky on the first try, but we need more people in the studio, like The Musicians, The Recording Engineer, The Assistant Engineer. ...The Producer, The Studio Manager." Peter said

" But if I use the studio my record label provides, I don't have to get all those people you mention right."

" yes," Peter said

" well, looks, I would be traveling to LA once in a while."

" so lily your song keep dreaming, which was released a few hours ago, I was hoping we could do a music video on it, and also you have to do a live performance on the song," Robert said.

" when and where would the live performance be?" Lily asked

"It would be in LA probably next month with I heart radio music festival, let's talk more about the music video, your record label will pay for everything in the video, but I need to help you contact a director if I do that I will give you their number and you will talk about what you want the video to be."

" cool I am in for it." lily said. she then waves to a waiter passing by. " could you get me another coffee please." lily looks at her phone. " wow that is a lot of comments for a song I just released a few hours ago." she starts to read them, she liked some comments until one comment caught her eye

Robert looking at his phone, said, "how does the director Hannah Davis sound."

" she sounds great," Lily said,d still staring at the comment.

" ok, I will contact her, tell her about you, and then give her your number," Robert said

4 am in Lily's grandparent's house

"James, James," Lily said, tapping James, who was sleeping beside her.

"What?" James said in a sleepy tone

" James, I can't sleep. Do you think I could survive the music industry?"

" Lily, we could talk about this tomorrow. I need to sleep," James said,

" well, Mike is awake downstairs. I could talk to him," Lily said as she walked out of the bed

"Wait, I am ready to talk, you don't have to go to Mike," James said

Lily shook her head and walked out of the room

As she was heading downstairs.

"she bumped into one of her grandparent's parent's servants.

" Pardon me, mademoiselle," he said

"Ooh, french. I love it." Lily said and kept on walking

She entered the living room and sat on a couch mike was sitting on.

" Hey Mike, I have a question to ask you," Lily said

" Sure, you can ask me anything."

" first of all, your brother, James, is so stubborn. And my question is, do you think I can sing, and do you think I could last long enough in the music industry." Lily said

" where in the world did you get that thought from."

" a comment."

"Ha, a comment your seriously believing what someone on the internet said; if you believe you can do this, then you can, don't let someone tell you otherwise," Mike said.

"Thanks, I never saw it that way." lily said as she rested her head on Mike's shoulder.

the next morning

"look at her, wait till James finds out," Alyssa said to Susan and Brina as they stared at her sleeping on the couch with her head on mikes shoulder

lily then woke up and realized she was on mike she quickly removed herself from him and noticed Brina, Alyssa, and Susan staring at her. " oh come, on none of you woke me up even you french guy." "I hope James didn't see this. He would be so mad.''

lily then received a text from James that said, " wake up dear, come over to the same cafe you went to last night."

Lily was at the cafe. She walked in saying." I am sorry about last night, and I promise Mike and I did nothing."

" I believe you, mikes rule is only to have sex once in a day, so I am sure you guys did nothing."

"Who did he sleep with? Brina, Susan, or Alyssa even though she has six kids and a husband."

" oh, it's none of them. It was with coralline."

" coralline, and who is that?

" one of your grandparent's maids," James said

"So, what did you want to tell me last night."

" never mind that it's too late. Mike already gave me an answer."

" Okay, well, now I am jealous." James said he then received a text message that said: " what is wrong with you and your brother? Why aren't you in crystal city? If I find out you ran away, I will end your father's life." James then turned off his phone, trying to ignore the text, when he finally came up with the perfect reply

Lily then got a notification, James had accidentally sent her the text, she decided to keep quiet about it and fake nothing happened.

" so you know we would be going back to crystal city tomorrow."

" I know and I am so excited," James said as he touched her hands she slowly pulled away.

She tried avoiding James for the rest of the day when night finally came she moved to the room at the end of the hall, her friends noticed something was wrong and they asked her about it and that's when she showed them the text.

" that little spawn of satan, how dare he, I will teach him a lesson," Susan said.

" Susan no, I don't want him to know that I know," Lily said, her phone then rang.

"Hello, Gina."

" We have got good news or bad news anyhow you want to call it, Agnes or Rebecca admitted she killed your parents she was planning to kill you, and her daughter Jane is just a paid actress, not her daughter. She will be heading to prison for a long time"

" I will consider it good news, how long do you think someone that stole millions of dollars will be in jail." lily asked

" I wish I could answer that question but I have other cases to solve."

The next day they had finally gone back to crystal city, and lily was preparing another trip for Los Angeles.

At an abandoned warehouse

" so did you get my text," James said

" no, I didn't."

" what? it must be a connection problem."

" you called us here what do you want," Mike said

"I didn't call you, i called James, I want you to move on to the next phase with lily and that is marriage."

" what? no way until you tell me why you returned the money to her I love lily and I don't enjoy doing this it was supposed to get the money and let us go."

" but now it's a change of plan you get the money from the inside and there wouldn't be anything suspicious about a man asking money from his wife, and if you try to mess up I sent my daughter to disguise as one of the maids she should be there by tomorrow and she would watch you closely. And remember your father's life is at stake."

" then well I quit, I am not working for you anymore, this is too much."

" just so you know if you quit I am taking everything I gave you, and I will no longer fund for you or your bar anymore and well you will be hearing from me soon about your father's condition."

" I very much understand."

" James this is our father we are talking about." mike said, then he turned to the man. " if I stay will our father be fine."

" in good health." the man replied.
