Lilian Pov:

I reach my home. It was a long day. I am tired. Took my hot shower. I order Pizza; I am too lazy to cook. I remember that I need to have a good talk with Nana. I dialed her number. It was not rechargeable. That’s weird. 

I heard the doorbell. Ah! Here comes my Pizza. I open the door. I was shocked to the core to see the person who is standing in front of me. What the ****! I screamed and hug her. Yes, it’s her, my Friend My Nana. It was a fabulous surprise. 

“Idiot why didn’t you inform me?” I asked her

“If I tell you earlier of my arrival then how you will call it as a surprise.” She said with a grin. 

“You know mom called me today. She said you will be moving here. But seriously, I didn’t expect you now. I called to a minute ago you have a good talk with you. You escape from my warmth”. I said with Fake anger.

“Thank god I didn’t say when I am planning to come here. Aunty Mel might have spoiled my surprise.” She signs in relief 

We were interrupted by the doorbell. I get the Pizza and place it in a kitchen slab. After Nana freshens up, we ate pizza and we had a long chat like in our old days. I miss this. I am happy to the extent that I didn’t notice the time. It was around 2:00 AM when we crash into bed. 

An alarm buzzed in my dreams. I groan and wake up. Today I have to attend the Party. So I will be leaving for the day soon. Nana was sleeping like a log even the Alarm sound is breaking our heads. She never changes.

I get ready for my office. As usual, I get my Coffee from Caffey café. Uncle Simon saw me from the window. He gestures me to wait. He came toward me with a warm smile. 

“Uncle Simon, How are you?” I asked him with a smile.

“I am a fine child. You’re early today! Always you will be hurry to get coffee. Are you taking care of your healthy child?” he asked me with concern.

Uncle Simon is a kind person. He doesn’t have any children. Aunty died two years back due to cancer. Uncle Simon uses to take care of her like a child. He loves his wife a lot. We can feel that by looking at them. But god is cruel in this life. He took his better half so soon. 

He likes me as his daughter. He always treats me kindly and worries about me because he tells me that I am not taking care of myself.

“Yes Uncle Simon, I am a strong woman. So don’t worry. I am good” I give him an assured smile.

I took my coffee and left the shop. I was checking share market status when I bump into someone. I spill the coffee in his shirt. “Oh my god! I am sorry sir, Mistake is mine”. I took my handkerchief and give it to him. He is a handsome man but not good as Edward. The hell I am thinking about him.

“It’s okay Miss….” He is waiting to tell me my name. “Oh I am berk, Liliana berk.” I shake my hands with him.

“Don’t be sorry Miss Berk. The fault is also mine. I am Daniel Enzo.” He said with a polite smile. 

“Oh Daniel how are you doing?” we heard Uncle Simon's voice. I turn and look at him. Does he know Uncle Simon? 

“I am fine Uncle, why you didn’t visit yesterday. Mom was worried about you.” Said, Daniel

“I was busy with my shop Dan. Tell your mom I will visit her this weekend.” 

I am just looking at them. Am I invisible? It’s already late. If I stay here another minute then I can say goodbye to my work. I cleared my throat to get their attention. 

 “Lily I forgot you were here. Daniel this is Liliana, she is like my daughter". Said Uncle Simon

“I know uncle, just now we introduced ourselves,” he said while looking at me.

I gave him an awkward smile. I look into my wristwatch. It’s time to leave. 

I said, “Okay, then I am leaving it's already late I have to reach my office.” 

“I will drop you, Miss. Berk, come with me” said Daniel.

“No no Mr. Enzo I can go by myself. Thanks!” I politely avoid his offer. But Uncle Simon wants me to take his help. I am thinking about what to do now.  

“Okay I will go with Mr. Enzo,” I said. He guides me to his car. We reach the office in 10 mins. I am late for 5mins today. I rushed to my cabin before saying thanks to Daniel.

But Liliana was not aware of someone who is watching this from far with his possessive eyes that could burn them.
