episode 2

Ji shin hears mi ran shouting and looks up. she sees mi ran coming to her like a meteoroid. mi ran comes near her table and slams the food packet on it.

all the students and librarian are looking at them. librarian lady is glaring at Ji shin. Ji shin stands up and smiles awkwardly.

she bows to everyone and apologises

librarian lady walks away with a death glare

" Kim ji shin what the fvck is wrong with you

you p*nk. you have been staying at library for two days .. have you get married to this d*mn book graveyard." mi ran keeps shouting regardless her surroundings.

everyone in the library looks at them. Ji shin again apologises to everyone and smiles awkwardly.

she sits mi ran down beside her and gives her water-bottle.

" mi ran-ah why are you shouting in the library?" says Ji shin and sits down.

" IT'S BECAUSE YOU.". mi ran again shouts but Jin shin puts her hand on her mouth and shuts her up.

she looks around with an awkward smile.

" keep you voice low please. librarian lady will not let me enter library ever again." Ji shin joints hands and pleads.

" fine fine! but I think it would be Great if that lady blacklists you. at least you won't come here." says mi ran with an annoyed face.

" don't say like that! *pout* I know you are having hard time covering up for me at dormitory but what to do I am working on my new song lyrics and I'll be having an assignment also that's why I got to work hard on both." says Ji shin and makes cute face. she holds mi ran's arm and cuddles with her.

" now don't act cute. I brought snacks for you. eat them." says mi ran and shoves away Jin shin's hand. mi ran can't resist ji shin's cuteness as she loves her a lot but acts tough

Jin shin hugs mi ran , " thank you mi ran! you are the best."

mi ran looks at Ji shin and adores her cuteness. she smiles and opens the snacks.

Ji shin Continues writing her lyrics and mi ran feeds her the triangle kimbap she brought for her.

ji shin is an orphan. her only family is her step parents. they are actually her uncle and aunt. her father was in a military and he martyred in a war when she was 5 years old. her mother raised her all alone by working in a restaurant as chef. her mother passed away in a disease when she was in junior high.

her uncle and aunt took her responsibilities. they told her that they will take her responsibilities until she gets into a university after that she will be on her own.

ji shin was always an straight A student so she could easily get into Korea University on scholarship.

now both mi ran and ji shin lives in dormitory of Korea University and works part time at a convenience store nearby.

" why do you write this lyrics when you don't want to be an idol. I mean you have a nice voice and you create good songs too. why not consider becoming an idol. you got a good appearance too, boys are already head to toe over you, they will go crazy after you." mi ran teases ji shin and clings onto her.

ji shin slightly pushes her away because she is disturbing her writing, " I don't wish to become an idol. I write lyrics because it makes me happy."

" yeah yeah! why not? writing does make you happy. you write novels and songs. you are so into that boyband, what was the name? oh yes BTS, but what you are studying is, arts. why? because your parents wanted you to become a civil servant and get a government job." says mi ran and rolls her eyes.

" yeah. i do! now don't disturb me. I have almost completed this song. and now I need to read some law books." says Ji shin and puts her own down

ji shin gets up and goes towards the bookshelf. she is looking at the books and searching for the one she wants.

mi ran follows her. ji shin takes out one books and starts reading it.

mi ran stands beside her supporting herself on bookshelf. she takes a bite of kimbap.

" but shin shin how come you stayed in the library. I heard they closed the library at 7:00pm. then where do you spent the night?" mi ran asks to ji shin.

ji shin puts the book back and takes an another book and goes to her seat. mi ran follows and sits beside her.

" at the baseball ground. the lights there are always on so it's easy to study there." says Ji shin and opens the book.

" are you crazy? you should have just came back to dorm." mi ran yells but this time she keeps her sound low.

" don't you know the rules? they turns off the lights after 11:00 and I had to complete my assignments and I needed to make notes too." says Ji shin and starts writing main points from the book in her notebook.

" studying civics and getting government job is hell on earth. respect my girl!" says mi and salutes Ji shin.

Ji shin smiles, " now you go! it's time for your practice."

" oh hell yeah! I forgot. then I'll run." says mi ran and gets up.

" wait!" Ji shin stops mi ran.

" what is it?" mi ran turns around.

" can you give this diary to min young do. he wanted to read my songs for some inspiration. he is going for an audition the day the after tomorrow." says Ji shin and gives a purple cover diary with all flowery and starry stickers to mi ran

" that p*nk! he only knows how to waste his time. how many time he aims to get rejected." say mi ran with annoyed face and takes the diary.

" don't say that! you must encourage him when you meet him okay?" says Ji shin and smiles.

" whatever!" Mi ran leaves from there.

Ji shin chuckles on her act and continues studying.
