"Wha- that's way too soon Dex"

"Ok...then promise me one thing"

"What is it?"

"Marry me when were old enough to do so"

"Haha thought you'd never ask, sure I will, my little dove."

"Little dove?"

"You like it?"

"Yeah..."

We both smiled at each other.

I woke up feeling ecstatic the next day. This feeling...having someone you adore like you back...this doesn't feel bad at all.

"Morning" Kai says with a gruffy voice.

"Morning!~" I replied.

"Kai! Bring Dex down here all ready, he's going home now."

"Yeah!"

"Heard that?"

"Mhm, wait I'm going to shower first"

"Sure, take your time"

I don't feel like stuttering while talking to Kai anymore now...I like it ^_^

"Kai is he ready?"

"Yeah, just a moment"

"Kai..."

"Yes?"

"Carry me"

" *chokes while drinking water* W-what? W-why?"

"You don't like to?"

"No I l-like to but mom might s-see us"

Now he is the one stuttering...so this is how he felt while teasing me? Haha cute ok ok my turn.

"It's alright, please~"

"F-fine"

"What took you guys so lo- ooohhh what's this?"

"Nothing -////-"

"Hmm...did Kai ask you to marry him Dex?"

"N-no it's the other way around actually..."

" *gasp* Wait...you mean you asked him out Dex? You accept my offer?"

"Yes Aunt Linda"

"HAHAHA! This is big news! Li ask the Laytons to fetch their son on their own, I have something to tell them."

"I will, well then...please excuse me young master."

I whispered to Kai. "See I told you it was nothing."

"Dex...you're teasing me aren't you?" he replied.

"Ahh haha...yes?"

" *sigh* You know I was holding back...though the hugs were an exception\, I didn't wanna touch you. Only until we're married. I'm afraid I c-can't control myself if this keeps up -////-"

"Pfft Hahaha"

"W-what's so f-funny?"

"I didn't know you were thinking about that, it's just too funny. We're kids, you can't do anything other than hug me"

"Ho you really think a hug is the only thing I can do? Should I kiss you right now?"

"W-what?! Wh-where'd that come from? S-stop kidding around..."

"I'm not kidding. I just said it, I can do it right now."

"E-ehh?? N-no th-thanks..."

"Hahaha see...now stop seducing me or I'll really do it"

Gah! Where'd he learn all that?? Gosh, and saying it with a straight face too...ahh my face is all red now.

"F-fine I won't" And here i thought I won't stutter anymore

"Dex, you really look like your mother right now. Did you know she did what you just did right now?"

"Huh? Mom did what?"

"She asked your father too...the way you did"

"Mom did?! That's amazing!"

"But she isn't a she, she's a he"

Kai and I stared at each other stunned.

"Mom is a guy?"

"Yeah she is"

"How come mom haven't told me about any of this?"

"She have her reasons, your dad, mom and I were childhood bestfriends. Kai's dad, we met him in highschool."

So they've known each other for forever? Wow, it's amazing how they stayed as friends up until now.

"Perhaps she doesn't want you to hate her if you found out."

"Why would I hate her?"

"I don't know ask yourself" Aunt Linda said letting out a loud cackle.

Seriously now...

"Sorry sorry, I was just kidding. Anyways, she asked your father to marry her too. Their parents weren't consent to this but since the both of them were hard headed, they kept meeting in secret. That's all I could tell you."

"Wow...mom is...just wow"

"I know right? Unlike someone specific who keeps following me everywhere. You know who...I eventually grew feelings for him after that. Kai's dad is a nerd."

"I wonder how ours will turn out." I said to aunt Linda looking at Kai's direction.

Kai turned away blushing🤣 (I know, he's too cute)

"Hopefully yours will turn out great"

"Yeah...anyhow, thanks for allowing me to stay the night aunt"

"Anything for my precious nephew!"

"Your mom and dad's here Dex"

"Mom! Dad!"

I rush towards them for a hug.

"Thanks Linda"

"No worries\, he's my nephew of course I wanna help. Oh and by the way\, he knows about it already *wink*"

"Ahh haha...thanks"
