Episode 4

The young man approached Gisela covered in blood, looked into her eyes, and noticed that the fear she had towards him had vanished. He extended his hand to help her, and she hesitantly took it. As Gisela rose with the young man's assistance, she realized that he was beautiful - tall, with tan skin, deep blue eyes like the ocean, long black hair, full lips, and wearing somewhat worn-out clothing - a white shirt and black pants, barefoot. Both had their gazes fixed on each other. When their hands touched, they felt an electric current, causing the young man to immediately let her go.

"You should go," the young man said, expressionless.

Still surprised by what had happened, Gisela managed to ask, "Who are you?"

"I am only a loner," he replied, somewhat curtly.

Gisela had never witnessed any battles before, and seeing the men torn apart by the wolves left her unsettled. She became even more frightened when she saw him covered in blood and didn't hesitate to ask, "Are you injured? Let me help you," she said quickly.

"They are just scratches, nothing I haven't had before," he said, turning around and ending their conversation. He was ready to leave.

"Wait, don't go," Gisela spoke, taking hold of his arm, forcing him to look at her.

He noticed the strength exerted by Gisela and winced at the tight grip she had on his arm.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Gisela said, releasing his arm.

Blood began to flow from where she had squeezed him. In reality, he had been injured - just a superficial cut on his right arm.

"But you're injured, I can't let you go like this," Gisela said, tearing a piece of her dress to use as a makeshift bandage. "Sit here," she ordered.

The young man remained silent and allowed Gisela to tend to his wound. She approached him, used the piece of fabric to tie it around his injured arm.

"Done," she said, looking up with a smile. He stared at her, perplexed, but his expression remained neutral.

Gisela still couldn't believe that such a handsome young man had saved her. They continued to gaze at each other for a few seconds until Gisela's she-wolf began to whimper, indicating that they should return as the sun was about to rise.

Gisela snapped out of her trance and stepped away.

"You must go now, or your family will know you have escaped," the young man said.

Gisela was surprised by his response. She wanted to ask him how he knew about her escapades, as no one knew except Sandra, her she-wolf, and her mare.

"B... - before she could speak, she was interrupted.

"I will take you home," the young man said, standing up.

"Alright," she replied, still puzzled.

They went to get the mare, but since they were close to her house, she chose to walk beside him instead of riding.

She wanted to know more about him - his name, what he was doing here, and, above all, how he knew about her nighttime excursions.

Every time she tried to speak, the young man interrupted her.

"Just walk and don't talk," he responded curtly, keeping his gaze fixed ahead.

When they arrived at the mansion, Gisela took her mare inside. She got momentarily distracted and when she looked back, he was gone. He had disappeared along with his pack, leaving only the she-wolf behind.

"It seems the Knight of the Night is full of mysteries," Gisela told her she-wolf, who wagged her tail, understanding her curiosity.

They left the mare in its place, and the she-wolf went over to join the rest of the pack. Gisela entered the mansion in total silence, luckily, no one had awakened. She entered her room and lay down on the bed, the image of the Knight of the Night going back and forth in her mind. Something about him attracted her, making her heart beat stronger.

That morning, Gisela had been rescued by the mysterious young man, or as she liked to call him, the Knight of the Night.
