A NEW START

Markian pov:

It's been a month, I moved from the house and rented a small apartment. My parents didn't like it but still I managed to convince them. I started to work as a gym trainer in the morning and in the evening was taking mixed martial arts to the students.

It's not a life that I longed for, but it's good. Every day I used to go home and spend some time with my parents. Still nothing changed between Adrian and myself.

My dad wanted me to date someone and lead a normal life like everyone. So he kinda arranged a blind date with this girl Kathy.

I am taking her to Mamma's hut. I really don't want to do this but I am doing it for my father's sake. After showering I went to my closet to find a perfect outfit. I grabbed a black pant, white t-shirt and a leather jacket.

I combed my hair and pulled it into a small pony, the small strands of hair that didn't fit into the pony fell over my face covering it. Think I should have a hair cut.

Everyday I used to wonder how on earth did my sutured wounds healed faster. Yes, whenever I saw them it didn't look like a scar from a month it looks older.

I grabbed my key and went to pick up Kathy. I'm nervous, how am I going to ignore this one. I went to the address my dad gave me and just rang the bell. Within minutes a blonde girl opened the door. She had a great figure and she wore a short black dress that showed her cleavages. I have to say this, she's really hot.

We came to the shop and occupied a table in the corner. Must admit she's kinda funny and really nice. As we continue to have this conversation I had a strange feeling of someone watching me. I slightly turned around and saw a pair of black eyes staring at me. It belongs to a teen-ager with golden brown hair wearing apron. Oh, he must be a new waiter. Probably staring at me to take an order.

I waved my hands and called him. He approached us with a elegant smile. He's thin and slender, had a pale skin tone which made the freckles over his cheeks easily noticeable. He had a sharp eyebrows and his eyes has certain sparkling gaze. I don't know for some reason, he kinda attracted me.

"What do you like to have sir?".

"Pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and Oreo thick shake for the lady. A choco truffle for myself".

"Sorry sir but we're out of that cake. What else you want?".

"No thanks. I don't need anything".

"Sir, why don't you try my new recipe. You'll definitely love that!".

"I said no".

"But sir just try it. If you like it pay for it or else it's on me" he said with a sparkling smile looking at my eyes. His eyes are so captivate that, I couldn't take my eyes from his. For a second I just wanted to taste him. Wait what!!.

"Ok, I'll have it. But remember if I didn't like it, I won't pay for it".

"You'll definitely love that I swear" he said by flicking his lower lip with the tongue and went to the pantry.

Kathy was talking about something but I didn't listen to them. I don't know what's happening. Am I nervous? But about what!!. It began to sweat a lot all of a sudden, even my palms are sweaty.

"I'll be in a minute" said to Kathy and moved out to get some air.

What's wrong with you Marky! Just be cool. I said that to myself and went back.

There was a piece of cake in my table. "He just brought this a few minutes ago. Why don't you try it", said Kathy.

Why not. It's red in colour and was covered in layers of white whipping cream. This isn't my taste, I like desserts with more dark chocolate. Anyway, just give a try Markian. I just took a small bite. OMG, it's amazing it has a perfect texture and blend. It's smooth, soft, just melted in my mouth. I'm loving it.

"Seems like you're enjoying it" said the boy. I didn't even notice him coming. Was I that busy in eating his cake. Well it is good but, I can't say that to them.

"No. I'm not" just lied. But why? I don't know.

"What? You don't like it" of course he was shocked by my answer.

"You kidding me! Tell me this must be the best cake you have ever tasted in your life", he looks so annoyed and frustrated. Yet, I just want to annoy him more.

"You know what? it tastes like shit".

OMG, look at his face. I couldn't control my laugh, I can burst at any moment.

"What!! What did you said now?!".

" Think you heard it".

"You're so mean" he said and grabbed the plate with leftover and went to the pantry.

What have I done! I never behaved like this in my entire life.

"Was it that bad" asked Kathy.

"Not really" said with a chuckle.

I asked for the check and he didn't show up instead Lydia came. "Brother what did you said? That new boy is so sad and will cry in any minute".

"Lydia, let me pay for that cake also".

"No, you don't have to".

"Nah, let me pay. Just tell that kid the cake is good" I said and paid the check.

Should I apologize? Maybe if he shows up before I leave. But there's no sign of him. I just left the place with Kathy and dropped her home.

"So what's next?" She asked and I just replied, "will call you" even though I knew I won't.

I went home and lied on my bed. I can even feel the taste of his pastry in my tongue. I tried to sleep but I couldn't. How did I hurt someone like that?!!

So I can be mean after all huh...
