Following

Adam drove his car out of the

parking lot toward the road. He saw Anna’s car ahead of him. He didn’t know why

but he started following her instead of going back home.

After about 15 minutes, she

stopped her car in front of a bakery and went inside. She came out with two

large boxes.

She sat back and started driving

her car again. Adam was now interested about why she bought a lot of sweets

from bakery, so he followed her. He maintained a safe distance because he didn’t

want her to suspect him.

Then she stopped in front of a

toy shop and bought some toys. Adam was very confused, “Is she a single mom? I read her CV and she is absolutely not married.” Adam thoughts horrified him but he didn’t know why. It’s not that he liked Anna

but why did he feel so awful.

He sighed and continue following

her car. His worry was apparent on his face, he looked so tense as if something

very bad had happened to him.

After about 20 minutes, they were

now out of city in suburbs. Adam didn’t have any idea where she was going and

that’s why he was worried. Every type of horrible idea came to his mind.

After about 10 minutes, Anna’s

car stopped in front of a large school like building. When Adam went near and

saw the board, he was both relieved and ashamed. It says, “City Orphanage”.

Adam parked his car and get a

visiting card by showing his ID to the security guard. He went inside and visited

the nun’s office. He said, “Hello, My name is Adam. I’m here to give a donation

for children.”

Nun gave him some papers to fill.

While he was filling the papers they exchanged the conversation. Adam asked, “Do

you mind if I ask some questions?”

Nun replied politely, “No, please

go ahead.”

He asked, “I think I saw my

colleague Anna but I’m not sure it was her or not...”

The nun interrupted, “Yes, Anna

is here. She is such a lovely child. She comes here every now and then. Kids

love her and she loves them. She is like an elder sister for kids.”

Adam smiled and said respectfully,

“Oh I see, I’m sorry but can you not tell her about my visit, it seems quite

embarrassing.”

Nun agreed, “Don’t worry I will

not tell her.”

Adam donated $400 and signed the

papers nun gave him. Nun asked if he wanted to visit kids but he apologized and

left the orphanage.

While driving back home, all he

thought was about Anna. He never saw such a pure hearted woman in all his life.

He recalled the whole time he spent with her. He remembered the luster of her

eyes with tears when she talked about Henry, the victim of child abuse.

He reached home at 9:45 pm, he

was overwhelmed by the thoughts of Anna. He changed his clothes and laid down

on the bed. He didn’t eat dinner because he had no appetite at all. He thought, “Her eyes looks beautiful when shinned with tears. I like her smile too. She is a very beautiful woman with a kind

heart. She is unique not like other woman I have met. I want to know more about

her.”

He was deep in his thoughts when

suddenly he gasped and said, “Why I am thinking about Anna?”

He still couldn’t identify his

feelings because he never believed in love at first sight.
