Deal with the devil

When Mia and Zen arrived at Zen's office Mia took a seat on the couch. When Zen saw how freely she acted he smiled. He then asked his assistant to bring to cups of coffee to his office.

"So what is it that you are here to discuss with me" Zen asked as he sat down beside her.

"It's about the marriage agreement that you made with my grandfather" Mia said as she moved away from him. "Why wanted to know why you agreed to marry me when you don't even know me" Mia continued.

Zen let out a slight laughter. "Well I can get to know after we get married and the only reason I agreed is because my family is also annoying me to get married. Zen said with a serious look.

"Okay fine I understand but why me"Mia asked eger to know his answer.

"Well when I finally agreed to this whole marriage thing you were the first girl on the list my mother handed me and you also just happened to be my type from the background check I did on you" Zen responded with a straight forward answer.

"Wait you did a background check on me" Mia said.

"Well of course you don't honestly think I would get married to someone I know nothing about"Zen said with a straight since he often ran background checks on people.

Mia sat there speechless as she had no idea how to respond to that. As she sat there lost in thought Zen's assistant had brought their coffee. As Zen's assistant was placing the coffee on the table Mia jumped up he seat and said " Since you agreed to this marriage because of your family why should I".

"Isn't your family or should I say mother worrying you to get married as well" Zen said as he took a sip of his coffee.

"How do you know that"Mia asked.

"I did say I did a background check on you so on the form it showed the amount of blind dates your mother organised for you and how you turned them all down by not even showing up" Zen replied.

Mia sat back and thought about what he said and how he is right about her mother. She then thought that if she gets married to him she doesn't need to worry about her anymore and the fact that he is also doing it for his family sack he won't be bother.

When Zen glanced over Mia he could already tell she was thinking of some stupid plan in her head. As he thought that Mia turned to face him.

"Okay fine I will agree to marry you on one condition" Mia said with a straight face.

"Sure what is it"Zen said looking at her interested in what she is going to say.

"You have to say out of business and only when we around our family will you be able to hold me" She said as she took her coffee from the table.

"Okay fine I agree to your condition but I also have one"Zen said with a devilish smile."You have to bring me lunch every day like a proper wife" He continued.

Mia thought for second and then she agreed. She then held her hand out for a handshake to seal the deal.
