My reply had shocked, not only the Prince, but the Duke and my brother.
"Feisty." I hear Damien whisper under his breath, just before he could clear his throat.
"*slight cough* Since, you think I'm delusional, I would like to know what do you think about yourself?" Damien asks me.
"I think of myself-"
"Apple." My brother said in a stern voice, cutting off my sentence.
My brother usually calls me Apple, a little nickname he kept for me.
But he didn't say 'Apple' in his usual, comfy tone. He sounded upset. Probably because I just back answered a Prince.
"I need to speak with you, Apple." Kyst continues, dragging me behind a Bush. I could not see the prince nor the Duke.
"You know I love you, right? But I think you should stop back answering the Prince. He could have you killed for all I know."
"I wont come for the hunt, I'll stay here, look around the garden a bit."
"But you-"
"Its ok, Kyst. I like hunting, yes. But I over stepped my boundaries, I'm sorry."
I motion for Kyst to go, he looked at me and nodded his head, reassuring me that I was forgiven.
I walked away from the Bush, giving a final glance ant the three men, who stoop together with their horses. I noticed the Prince, was carefully petting the black stallion.
And that's when he looked at me, his eyes were as cold as ice. And there was.....there was a shadow moving behind. A shadow that didn't belong to any of the three men.
And as fast as it had appeared, the shadow disappeared. The look in Damiens eyes had changed. It no longer had the cold look.
Something was wrong here. It started with the Rose, it looked like a normal beautiful flower, but there was something wrong with it. I hadn't noticed it at first, but there was little blood on it.
it could not be properly noticed, because the flower was red itself. But if you looked closely, you could notice it.
There was a possibility it could be a curse....
But I didn't want to believe it........
