(feels pain in his both hands and legs as he's been standing and hugging the crying yi'er for too long.)

(looks up at sean with puffy and swollen eyes.)

(looks at Sean's shirt that he's been holding and the places where his tears stained , as he takes a step back to avoid getting punished when the later traps him in his arms.)

10 year old sean

(doesn't let yi go.)

are you done crying....

I ..I.... (looks down not answering.)

10 year old sean

(understands Yi's nervousness.)

don't worry. I am not gonna punish you. didn't I told you if you keep listening to me. I won't let you get heart.

5 year old yi

(nods his head while still looking down.)

(raises Yi's head as he wipes away the rest tears from his face.)

(raises his hands and put something in yi'er's hand.)

5 year old yi

(looks down to see the same dog leash which has been giving him nightmares was in his hands. trembles a bit making sean tight his arms around him .)

10 year old sean

(asks with some fear in his eyes.)

10 year old sean

this...... (sigh.) I know with this dog leash you have lots of bad memories. I won't say what my mother did wasn't wrong , but I hope you could find a place in your heart to forgive her. Afterall no woman could ever accept her husband cheating on her and having a child outside. and the main reason I am giving this to you so that you could throw this away and I hope you'll throw away those memories too.....

*I am sorry. I know I am a selfish jerk trying to say what my mother did was right in some sense but I really don't want to see my family dying again and....... . I hope I could give you a good life too. (sigh ..) I really owed you a lot.*

5 year old yi
