4. GHOUL'S ATTACK

The mountain was covered in black clouds anyone didn’t know what to do

then suddenly yan cheng said everyone to back off and stabbed bai xiang with

his sword  xuchen. Everyone gasped. Then

suddenly bai xiang’s body was slowly turning into a corpse. Everyone were

running back.

Xue yuan was confused because he was the only one who heard the flute

sound and then he slowly walked towards the corpse. The corpse had a red lotus

mark he then called yan cheng and told him to have a look.

Yan cheng was shocked by seeing the red lotus mark. Xue yuan asked him

“is there anything wrong. Do you know what this is?”

Yan cheng said “I saw this mark on my father’s body”

Then suddenly the ground started shaking they heard a bunch of people

coming towards them then they saw many walking corpse were coming towards them

then xue zheng said “everyone to go back to your houses and lock the door we

four will handle it”

Xue yuan, yan cheng, xue zheng and yan zhao were fighting the corpse

since they knew their weapons better than others.

The all corpse were attacking only xue yuan for some reason everyone

were confused then xue zheng said ‘ the corpse are after xue yuan I think they

want to take him. We must stop the corpse”

Everyone started doing their best but then one sword came flying towards

them and started fighting the corpse the sword was too powerful that it

destroyed every corpse with in few seconds which anyone couldn’t do.

Everyone were just looking at the sword fighting the corpse then xue

zheng asked “whose sword is this?”

No one replied back they said “it’s none of us. Look at the sword it is

black and red only hua clan masters have red and black swords”

Xue yuan, xue zheng and xue Liang were not understanding what was

happening there but then they said “our swords are with us it’s not ours”

The sword then made a barrier in which the ghouls couldn’t enter. Xue

yuan’s eyes were stuck in the sword he was fully concentrating on it then he

heard a voice calling his name from the sword he was scared and stepped back

and was speechless.

Yan cheng saw xue yuan was scared for some reason then suddenly the

barrier broke and the sword disappeared the ghouls came inside of the barrier

as fast as they can and then they came running towards all of them and started

attacking. Xue yuan saw many of them were badly hurt then he took them inside

of the houses and told them to stay there suddenly a corpse stabbed xue yuan on

the back. Xue yuan attacked the corpse with his sword then he fell unconscious

xue zheng went running towards him. The ghouls stopped, turned back and started

running.

Everyone were tired. Xue Liang said “it was so weird as soon as the

corpse got stabbed by A-yuan they ran away?”

Xue zheng said “no wonder they were after a-yuan but why did they run

away?”

Everyone gathered at a safe place and then yan zhao said “now that bai

xiang is not here me and xue zheng will take care of you all no matter what you

all should not go outside till its morning the sky is still black there maybe

chance that the ghouls will return so all of you rest assure in the tents don’t

go out”

Everyone agreed and stayed in their tents until the morning arrived.

Healers were repairing swords and healing the injured ones.

The morning arrived. Xue yuan was healed completely and others were also

healed xue zheng and yan zhao told everyone to pack their stuff.

Everyone packed their stuff. Yan cheng was restoring his power and xue

yuan was thinking about the voice coming from the sword calling his name. the

next moment xue zheng comes and hits xue yuan’s head and says “are you idiot or

what why do had to go in between and get stabbed”

Xue yuan said “didn’t dad say we should protect people?”

Xue zheng said “he said to protect them not die before protecting them”

Xue yuan said “but I protected the person then got stabbed”

Xue zheng said “idiot!”

Xue yuan said “I’m not an idiot I’m sure dad and mom will praise me

after listening this”

Xue zheng said “keep dreaming. Now come we all are about to leave or we

will leave you behind”

Xue yuan said “yeah, yeah I’m not that stupid”

Xue zheng left. Then xue yuan saw here and there (where is yan cheng?)

he saw yan cheng was restoring his power. He ran towards him and said “hey come

we are leaving or we will leave you behind.”

Yan cheng got up, ignored xue yuan and started moving towards the team

Xue yuan said “how rude! Is this how you treat your partner? Well at

least say what animal do you like?

Yan cheng peeked at him and said “I like birds”
